not really any promos because I think I told them some years ago not to send AIS advertisements, you can stop them if you want. But I do get the AIS internet request for top-up if the balance is down, so they just send a reminder each day if I want their 200 baht a month internet .. then top-up ... but internet is not part of sms ... or Wi-Fi ... only a SIM is needed to receive sms. correct ?

i'm not completely sure on free or not but it's part of the banking security and they automatically send out the code so I don't think charging has anything to do with it.

No new app .... but Notifications allowed is on ... messaging .... google ... and all other apps.

also Nobra, it must be the correct number because I use to get the codes from Citibank Australia no problem ... and NAB now has the same profile ... same number .. etc ..

yes ... we had this discussion over the phone and I told her no zero when international ... she thinks the number is fine it's just the receiving end possibly blocks. I don't know for sure ...

I think Telstra was one of the carriers the Thai government blocks bank codes from ... Telstra and Vodaphone .. the AIS lady showed me on her iPad .... because she asked if their were other carriers, and i told her Optus and maybe another one ...

I may have to change to DTAC to receive the codes, and I don't mind doing that because I don't use my mobile for anything but receiving 1-2 calls every few weeks ... mainly internet sometimes. If I can change to DTAC .... and keep my existing mobile number then maybe ok ... ??

aha .... that's a possibility, although I wasn't keen on any Aussie SIM ... i'd sooner change carriers here in Thailand if that works ...

now ... I just remembered ... I tried to download the NAB app to my OppoA83 from Play Store and it say's device incompatible ... I don't know why .. but it says that. so there's a slight problem ... haha 😕

exactly, and this is the problem ... there's something a miss with sending and receiving ...

yeah' I've only logged in using the website ... then log-in. I might download the app on my mobile and see if I can get any further after logging in ... good idea... worth a try.

The problem with that is it's only 60 days , then top up is $15 .... so just to have that sim in the phone for a year may add up somewhat ....

The problem is they only have what the Citibank profile was .... and to change the number, address or anything you need to receive a security code. haha

NAB took over Citibank Australia .... and I use to get Citibank codes every time, I think because their server is in Malaysia .. hence not blocked.

aha ... I may have to relent and get an aussie SIM .... i can put 2 SIMS in my mobile, it shows Nano sim 1 and 2 on the back slot diagram.

I am trying to set up a new NAB account in Australia, however I can't receive the sms security code they send using my AIS network. Can't do anything with NAB acc without the code. AIS informs me today that the government blocks bank codes from many foreign countries ... and she showed me the list, Germany, Austria, Australia and another 20-30 more. The NAB lady who tried to send the sms security code told me others in Thailand do receive it, however she said some have problem and don't receive it ..... hence, I'm wondering are the one's who can receive the sms using DTAC or NT or True. AIS will ask the engineer if anything can be done, she also suggested maybe I get an Australian SIM to use for receiving the code ... ( I don't want that hassle ) ... Has anyone else ever had this problem with an overseas bank sms and security codes .... ??

I know they tip in Texas .... George Bush tips when he goes to a restaurant I bet. In Thailand, I tip 20, 30 baht .... if the service was fine and the staff were friendly. But to be honest, no reason to tip as it's their normal job, the owner can tip his staff if he wants, no one tipped me at work that's for damn sure !

Just take 1/2 teaspoon each morning, or every second morning to keep the cost down, or just take a little when you feel heartburn coming on .... I'm just saying each morning to ensure your good all day as you might be away from home when the heart burn come on .... Like anything you buy, you have to pay if you want it fixed, and it does work.
