    This cannot be done online or at an ATM without his PIN, a cloned atm card, or user name and password .... otherwise it's impossible.

    OP... very sad news indeed. I seriously doubt there is anything you can do as the scammers will likely be Chinese working from a room in Laos or Cambodia.

    very strange story indeed, however as mentioned it lacks any detail on why she was charged. Having said that, she say's she's completely innocent ..... but I seriously doubt the police would have charged her unless they had sufficient evidence against her that would hold up in court, they wouldn't have charged her if someone else used her Thai ID for instance.

    90 DAY REPORT done online is an absolute blessing, it takes about the same time as it takes to make a cup of coffee and that's it ........ then just wait a couple of days for the approval. Log in again after a few days to see if it's approved or pending. It's that simple. The headaches uncounted before and the ques and the waiting was like going to the circus ... but the clowns at the immigration office weren't as funny.

    That's a long wait time .... last time if I remember mine was approved in 48hrs / 2 days.

    it will never ever be stamped out ..... it pays for the cops food and drink .... he's only on 15,000 - 20,000 a month so the extra 10,000- to who know what ... makes it worthwhile.

    A few bad apples or rotten to the core? The headline is misleading ...... it's not a few , it's most !! if not all there is corruption in many countries, however it's absolutely prevalent in Thailand. Will it ever be weeded out? of course not , it pays the rent, food , drinks, whatever and has done for decades .....

    kids these days can learn alot while playing games, all we ever did as kids was talk, learn, build things, go on family adventures together with the parents ..... if only we all had a mobile phone back then none of that would have happened.

    yes I agree , I don't like to see an ordinary hard working person get scammed, if fact I hate it. .... but this case is a bit of a scammer being scammed by another scammer. haha
