It was an entertaining fight but only because the thai guy was the underdog it was always going to end like that as soon as he caught him with a clean shot the weight difference was too much.

Watching the video - the Thai fighter had enormous courage against such a well built guy. Hat's off and he put him down many times but brute strength combined with a touch of insanity - hard combination to beat. Let's hope the BiB get their man and put this guy in shackles. I doubt he will see freedom in this life time once incarcerated as he will not be a model prisoner. Time will sort him out and also the diet inside will reduce his size substantially.

Not really mate remember the crazy Aussie guy that shot the American in cold blood up here in chiang mai he only got 2 years and that was an assasination style killing if this guy is smart he says the guy insulted the king and he had to do him in and he should be out in 12 months just like the Aussie guy who is now living as a free man in Australia.

Standard procedure and as an ex hotel owner I compleltely understand as if I were part of the Agoda network with my Hotel I would still charge Agoda for a cancellation with 10 days to arrival as I would of refused people rooms that were blocked by Agoda so they have to pay for that and its completely acceptable that they dont refund you for your money.

The only issue is if they dont make it clear which is not the case as they have clearly labeled in terms and conditions of booking.

Dont get ripped off by paying a fortune because you are not familiar with websites and webhosting and building websites I own around 35 web domains and all can be got for no more than $10 a year, If you sign up with the host I use which is Hostmonster.com you get a free domain and the hosting is just $5.95 a month.

From what you need as far as a website i would use Worpress which can be loaded for you and designed for no more than $25.00 thats with a custom header and set up ready for you to enter your text. if you have the text and want it entered add $10. It literally takes 5 minutes to learn wordpress ad it will save you a lot if you can edit your own website plus you can do it instantly. If you can use word you can use wordpress.

I dont do websites Only my own but no way I pay anywhere near what web designers charge they tend to go on how familiar you are if they think you know nothing the price goes sky high for a simple job.

Let it go, life is too short. Last thing we need here in Thailand is an escalation of the farang tendency to follow 'an eye for an eye'.

I did actually intend on letting it go but while I was out yesterday evening it kicked off again and this time he called my wife a whore, among other things he speaks fluent thai so was using some very nasty thai phrases to which I wont go into here but lets just say it was real nasty talk reffering to certain parts of a womans anatomy

She called me and told me what he said and broken leg or not action needed to be taken as it seems he did not know she has a husband like I said I keep myself to myself at home. well he knows now

So I headed home and gotta admit I was pretty raging mad at what he said to the missus this time and he is an obvious Bully to the women in the soi so got home and pulled up outside his house, did I mention I was angry, so I saw his lights go out in the house and I yelled for him to come outside, he did not come out and I don't blame him with a crazed 250 pound Neanderthol, shouting at him, My behaviour was nothing to be proud of in fact it was quite shameful but enough is enough I don't like Bullys.

Anyway the whole soi came out, but he did not, typical of a bully

I eventually went home but the cops showed up shortly thereafter, now we live in a little quiet soi and there were 3 cop cars and 6 cops which I thought was a lot but turns out he had called them that some crazy guy was trying to kill him which is why they sent 3 cars.

Anyway I went out and saw this guy for the first time and I did not care the cops were there I told him in a very clear manner what I was going to do to him if he insulted my missus again which he admitted to saying, lucky for him the cops were there because I was raging mad

The cops knew him as they have been called for problems with him before apparently.

Nothing happened with the cops they said if anyone want to press charges they have to go the station.

My behaviour was admittingly very bad and I would of preffered not to of got involved but his behavoiur was not acceptable and it would of just continued had I not taken action.

I have been living in this house peacefully for 2 years and never even knew he was 2 doors down and had never seen him, Hopefully he now knows his neibour is a Psycho and its best to keep his mouth shut and he will never have to see me again.

I found a crowd of crazed thai women trying to literally beat the shit out of a farang and his wife who were in there home, reason was the farang threw a firework and killed there cat (turns out he did it on purpose)

What kind of guy does that??? Why did you defend him? If the guy across the way shot and killed my cat with a firework...I'd be pretty hard to restrain too. I mean...who does that???

Agreed however I did not find that out until the cops came and he admitted to deliberately throwing the firework at the cat which I as any one else would be shocked at that behaviour if i had known I would of stayed at home and let them tear him up.

If some arrogant watch out when I`m about told my girlfriend or any of my family to f off, I would first approach him and ask if he actually said it. If he did and refused to apologise to my girlfriend, I would simple smack him in the face or at least threaten to smack him down.

Sounds extreme but if you do not take action at the time, then these creeps will consider you a push over and do the same thing over and over again spoiling the enjoyment of living in your neighborhood and causing distress to your family.

Yep your exactly right and thats exactly what would of happened if I did not have a broken leg but I have to be a little sensible as the last thing I want is to extend the already 8 months recovering from this darn leg.

So like i said before he was quite lucky I could not go out there and deal with it but it is noted.

I really dont think it warrants calling the police as nothing really happened to warrant that. hopefully its over.

With regards to TPD, when i was in it I got called out from my house for an incident on the other side of the moo baan and went to see if I could be of assistence, I found a crowd of crazed thai women trying to literally beat the shit out of a farang and his wife who were in there home, reason was the farang threw a firework and killed there cat (turns out he did it on purpose) since I knew all parties except the farang and his wife I was able to stop them from entering his property which they were trying to climb over there fence to get at them, anyway when the real cops showed up nothing changed really, they were still crazy, cops really did nothing to cool things down and it took over an hour for it to cool off

Not sure the police would be any help even if it kicked off

Couple of things in his favor

1.) He left in his car immediately which allowed everyone to cool down and defuse it from escalating any further.

2.) Thankfully I have a broken leg and being a bit of a hot head I would of been round in a shot and dealt with it myself, and found out his side of things and if he was mouthy with me then so their is a postive for having a broken leg kept me from being stupid

Hopefully it will be the end of it, but since its not the first time with him I guess there will be a chapter 2

Seems the very nice Thai lady that lives opposite him asked him if he could move his garbage a little bit so she can get her car into the driveway, its a narrow soi and she has a Vigo so its a tight turn into her drive, he moved it and went inside then came back out and acused her of moving his garbage even more then proceeded to curse at her as my wife was walking up and asking the neibour friend whats going on and he says you can fuc_k off too then drove off in his car.

So my missus is gunning for a scrap with this geezer now, as he talk to her bad for no reason, turns out he has cursed a the neibours to his left also and is not the most liked farang in the street.

I know that jewelery stores in the States and Europe are not interested in purchasing Thai gold or asian gold unless they are specifically asian owned stores selling to asian customers. Tried it with no success.

My Thai g/f tells me it is the same in Thailand, not interested in farang gold or will only offer a very low price for it.

Perhaps there is no demand for it in Asia.

Spent some time yesterday researching it and it seems that there are places that will buy it, gold4cash buys it and so does other avenues it seems buying peoiple old gold jewelry has grown over the past few years, lets face it its still 58.3% real gold and gold is over $1000 ounce still, so its still worth scrap value which looks like most dealers will offer 50% of the gold content as they have to melt it and seperate the other 43% base metals.

There was a CBS inside job on cashforGold who hold partys for people to bring there old gold to and they weight it test it and then make an offer to purchase it apparently the fair price is 20% below the cost of the gold content but they were ripping people off by offering less than 40% of its real value.

I agree Asians like min 95% personally when the missus bough me a chain I could not wear the stuff its just too soft and kept breaking I think the only reason they like 95% is they can go the gold shop and change it for cash I think that's the only reason

14K specifically which is 58% real gold as opposed to 96% bought at the local gold shops.

Now with the economy as it is I have managed to get hold of about 90g of 14K Gold chains for a extremely cheap price and was wondering if the local Gold shops will buy it,

I know your going to say, why not go down and ask ? which I will do tommorow but wondering if anyone knows if they will buy 58% 14K gold at the gold shops obviously at a reduced rate of the 96% gold

If its 90g of 14K im guessing thats about 45% of real 100% gold.
