My girlfriend’s kid has a huge hole in one of her eardrums, there is apparently very little left of it. The doctor recommends reconstruction surgery. Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, can you recommend a hospital or doctor? And how long would it take to recover from this surgery? They live in Hua Hin, by the way, so it’s not a big deal to have to go to BKK for this. Imagine the outrage if this had happened under Biden. All of MAGA (including on this forum) would be screaming for everyone involved to be sacked. Or executed. And now I don’t hear a peep from these people, except some lame excuses, like ‘no one died’, or ‘no biggie’. The hypocrisy is staggering.

Biden didn’t spend nearly as much time on the beach as you on the golf course, sunshine. And being grossly overweight does not mean you have a better body than Biden, on the contrary. But this was a very weird comment to make anyway. Who the hell cares if you have a better body than Biden? You’re not in a swimsuit competition, are you? The immaturity, pettiness and narcissism of that man never cease to amaze me.

Are they also going to look into Elon Musk’s visa application when he first came to the USA? From what I gather, he came on a student visa, but instead decided to start a business. But I have this nagging feeling that the current powers that be are totally going to ignore this ‘slight infraction’. Weird, right?

I agree with you, but I’m afraid the Thai people don’t. Polls that were held throughout decades show that a more or less constant percentage of about 70-75% of Thai say they don’t have any problem with corruption, as long as they benefit from it.
