She is giving it to her boyfriend; cut her off/end it now, cut your losses and move on. -
Drain pipes for kitchen? Blue pipes? Clean water only?
safarimike11 replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in DIY Forum
Blue PVC pipes are used for both water supply and water disposal (drainage). My advice is for water supply, use the best quality/strongest pipes and for drainage, don't use the thinnest/cheapest. 2" is the right size for house drainage - don't go below this size or you will live to regret it. -
1. I have a British friend who uses 400K on deposit and his pension to satisfy the "retirement extension" requirement. However, he informs me that every 90 days - as well as reporting - he has to provide a letter of proof of his pension which he needs to get from the British Embassy in Bangkok. Being as he doesn't drive - and lives over an hour outside the city, the only way he can get this is by taxi. He had a career in logistics and worked for some lucrative projects in London, China and Hong Kong, so it's a pity that he didn't save his money. 2. I myself am only on a partial UK retirement pension (that doesn't increase as everyone knows), so the 800K is my only option.

I taught (English, English Literacy, Maths and Science) in a number of private schools between 2006-2018; the one thing they all had in common was that the subject of Grammar was taught by a Thai teacher... go figure.

Prevention of swimmer's ear (external ear infection)?
safarimike11 replied to Lorry's topic in Health and Medicine
Where were/are you swimming? If it is in a public swimming pool, do they treat the water; they should test it and add chlorine on a weekly basis at least. If not, stop swimming there. -
The only time I slip on surface is outside on tiles after it has rained (on my property), hence need to replace the tiles will something better.

90 Day Count Verification
safarimike11 replied to AAArdvark's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As far as I know, you are allowed to report 14 days before and/or 7 days after the date; if you are more than 7 days after, you will get fined at the rate of 1,000 baht/day. -

I recommend "Top Charoen" Optical; there are branches in most Big C malls. I have been using them for 15 years. -
