Most should think about this very careful.
It just happen to be that my wife died suddenly, about 6 weeks ago.
At this moment it is still too emotional for me but I will sure come back with my experiences about this matter.
( I can tell you that there are some surprises that many of you are not aware of!!)
You can find your info in :
The civil and commercial code books I-VI
Book VI succession
title I;general provisions
titleII;statutory right of inheritance
titleIII;wills

Yesterday signed contract with IPstar (Taifah in Korat)

1 month Fee = 1500

Plus 7%= Total 14260 baht
Monthly fee is 1500 during the first year (special action) and will be 2500 for the following years ( or what ever price is valid at that time)
Installation on 28 November next
Others is transportation, as I live about 20 km's outside Korat.
Except for their English(
) it looks a professional set up

There are 3 uniformed officers.
2 say "NO" (not yet)
1 say "OK" (the english speaking)
I think it is just the moment of the day and who is on lunch break
As I said b4,I will go in December but be prepared to go straight to the postoffice.
But let us keep each other informed
-
I have to join the Happy Birthday wishers.
Many teays to come Elsie

I used an architect ;Mr. Chanakit Rattanaphong
1542 Suranarai Rd. 30000 Korat
He supervised the total construction and hiring the builders.
My brother in law (Lawyer) made a nice contract with penalty clauses.
You can see my house in the pictures (somewhere)
I don't know if he still doing the practical things or only designing?

The topic is Fortuner fuel economy
-
Another good indication how you drive your car, is using the information from the "computer" about :Engine running hours.
If your engine ran 12 hours with one full tank, you most probably do a lot of small tyrips and also run your engine while parking.
At the moment my car 1/10,5 (!) at an average of 47 km/hr

I did ALL my 90 days reports by mail.
(also the first one)
-
Hey Seen All...
A detour on the strength of what you read ?????
I made it pretty clear that NOTHING was certain yet.I even wrote that I want to try my 90 days reporting in December OR straight to the post office.
They are obviously not ready and it will take some time.
Be patient
-
No the gasoline version.
I am now at 10400 km and 1/10,4 fuel consumption.
Lately many 50 km trips at 90 km /hr
No parking and waiting with running motor in town any more, which is killing the consumption calculation
-
Thanks,
I will go to Suan Plu on Dec.5 or 6 and will let you know my findings
-
Thanks,
But I don't want togo a few days before .I want to go as long time as possible before.I need security because I will book flight with No change of date possibility.
If something not OK,I have time to correct.
I am not the last minute type.
Any specific term, like max 3 or 4 weeks b4 expiring. There must be a rule somewhere
-
I am planning a short visit to Europe ( 23 -30 december),however my visa expires on 29 december.
Anybody knows how many weeks before expiring date I can make my request for extension?
(I tried all search methods, but could not find.)
Thanks.

before my house was ready,I spend a lot of time at Sima Thani.
Easy to find on the outskirts of Korat city ( mainroad to Bkk)
Limited English,but friendly staff
Reasonable good buffet
Reasonable prices ( from about 900-2500 baht for resp. room / suite)
Simple furnished
Damaged interior (wall paper),carpet
Very limited TV access
Most of the time ,I always enjoyed my stays (from a couple of days till a couple of weeks)

Was there today!
quite a lot of people, three of them wear uniforms (11/2 stripe). One of them talked reasonable english.
The other 2 hardly and one was an unfriendly type ( I met already 1 week ago for the 90 days reporting)
2 were telling they still don't do any administartive actions and it will take some time ( can be more than 1/2 year or so????).However one of them gave me my 90 days slip last week????
The english speaking official hoever told me that 90 days would be fine!?!?!?
They are administrative centre for 17 provinces that's why it will take some time before they will be real operational.
December I will go for my 90 days ( and if not, i go right away to the post) and I will go for my extension to Suan Plu.
