  1. Korat -Pak Chong about 90 km

On the road from Korat to Pakchong you take the direction to Kao Yai.(left)

After about 15 minutes the row will bend to the left.Just before that bend you can follow the small road on your right to Mission Hills. There is a sign and you can't miss.

  2. My salt is in a small stainless steel pot.

The lid is covered with an extra soft plastic cover.

(It was sold in Germany this way together with a simular pot for pepper).

I used in for more than 5 years in Indonesia and about two years in Thailand.

    I have absolutely NO problems.

  3. To-day I went to the Korat immigration office to find out about the status.

    Doing the retirement extension

    Doing the marriage extension

    Doiing the tourist visa extension

Replacing stamps from old passport into new passport

They do NOT require health certificate!!

Officer is fluent in English and (as already known) friendly and helpful. :o

    bye bye Bangkok :D

  5. Congratulations.

Nice to know that I just can stay at home (in Korat) for my renewance on December next :o

    2 questions:

Non imm.O-A (A stands for pre aproved) will only be issued outside Thailand in your home of residence.

    I suppose it is a "O" ??

The last days it was the talk that for retirement you will NOT need a medical certificate anymore??

  6. Did the immigration officer told you that last week??

Information from KF forum is that to-morrow one of its members is collecting his one year extension.

So let us wait another 1-2 days and we will know .

  7. A lot depends on the tax treaty.

At the moment I got paid gross/nett in Holland, provided I proof my tax paying in my country of residency.

There is dicussion going on at the moment if they have to right to request that.

On the other hand I have an email correspondence with a fellow countryman who got an tax bill of 12.000 euro from the tax office in Holland(as he could not proof the tax paying elsewhere)

  8. I got an attack about 4 years ago(left foot) and I agree with writers about the pain !!!!!

I am a non drinker and non smoker with medium sport activity.

My doctor (in Indonesia)advised me to take 1/2 tablet of Zyloric 300 (as prevention)

In Thailand this was replaced by Allopurinol 300 at the cost of 5 baht per tablet (6 sept 2006)

I have my uric acid checked twice a year (lab costs 200 baht)

Normal range of measurements should be between 3,4 and 7.

If it becomes higher, you can sign in for an attack !

  9. I think you will find it starts the day its entered into your passport, I don't have a retirement visa, I have a B, and thats how that works.

    Sol

    Sol:

If you have a B and are an expert in the B questions, than don't answer questions about O-A.

    Your answer was wrong.

Look at Lopburi3's reply. That is 100% correct and the OP can work with that.
