The government failing on it's number 1 priority of protecting the borders. If a country can't protect it's borders it will soon cease to be a country.

All this is a deflection from the real question "Why are US schools not educating children properly so there isn't a need to import people that obviously did get educated properly in other countries". Seems to me that most western countries are not educating children properly and relying on people from other countries to make up the shortfall.

Far as I'm concerned marriage was over as a viable exercise when they said a man could rape his wife. How the <deleted> can any man prove that he didn't? Short of making a VDO every time, or having a witness in the room, it's just her word and we know how the courts always believe everything a woman says- just because she a female. I always flew Thai and never had a problem of their making. However due to experience in British Airways and Air NZ- problems with cabin crew on both- I'll never fly with them again, or Cyprus Air- worst seats of any airline I ever flew on. I'd have flown on Emirates if they didn't stop during the flight. Not interested in hanging around in an airport middle of the night.

Yup, some of us old fellas can look back on a lifetime of hard work with pride. We didn't sit in an AC office getting a big bum, and thinking the gym was worth paying for. Not so long ago I could move a few tons of dirt in a day and still stay awake at night till after midnight. Now sweeping the floor is hard work and I fall asleep 5 minutes after starting a movie in the evening. I even started watching movies in a chair, but all that happened was that I fell asleep in the chair. Even coffee doesn't keep me awake. Cut a damn tree down that fell onto the 'garage' with a circular saw, pre-chain saw owning I've done my share of mad things. I was lucky that I didn't cut my hand off, though I once tried to cut my finger off with a chain saw, still have the scars. I was lucky to get a great surgeon that managed to reconnect the tendons, and still have full function in the finger.

All IMO run/ controlled by the 1%. War is more profitable than peace, therefore we shall have war.

C'mon man we all know Trump lies all the time and nothing he says can be taken seriously. Who cares- politicians do it every time there is an election, and most of the time between as well. IMO. I look at Trump from what he DID, and I like what he DID. Seems you, and a lot of people, get exercised by what he says and ignore what he does. I have great hopes for this term finish the wall finish the pipeline more conservatives on SCOTUS deport illegals kick Euro politician's butts into touch sort NATO and end the Ukraine war humiliate all those Euro leaders that attacked him before end the gender nonsense end the MMCC nonsense put China back in the box ( that's a hard one so might not manage that ) do such a good job on the economy that Vance gets to replace him in 2028 I'm also hoping for a hugely entertaining 4 years.

I'm on record as saying I'd prefer someone else than Trump as the candidate, but that was not to be. Everything I write is based on my own life experiences laced with a great deal of cynicism. A good year? Hope is good.

Please, I'm no fan of the uber rich, even if they do marry attractive wives and have their own plane. My support for Trump is based on his domestic policies ie illegal immigration, and drilling for oil. I also admire his antipathy for woke issues eg the gender fiasco. Many more but no need to list them all. However any respect I have for him is as one that didn't start any wars. All the boys that didn't die during his first term owe him gratitude. how do you like his already changing his mind on many of his campaign promises even before he takes the oath again? Don't care. Makes him just like a normal politician. The last 8 years have contaminated him with politics to a certain extent. No longer the political innocent of 2016.

When it does come to pass that robots are up there with humans, best check Ash isn't one of them. Also best not have Hal as the craft's computer.
