Before independence the Malay peninsula and Singapore were both ruled by Britain and there may not have been many Chinese or Indians before the 20th century, which as I understand it were imported as labour. Makes sense they were both regarded as Malaya. Singapore was basically just a big pile of mud till the British developed it as a major military base. When I was there in the 70s, most of the bases all over the island were still occupied by the British, Australians and Kiwis.

On that I agree. In fact, as a high exertion now and then is better for keeping the heart functioning than a sedentary walk, an orgasm is one of the best ways to keep the ticker ticking. When I was only visiting Thailand on holiday, I always left lighter and fitter than when I arrived. In a related subject, I never knew what a knee trembler was till I passed 65. Up till then it was quite easy to cross the bridge, and I only once had what the French call La petite mort. I think I tried everything except wearing latex, asphyxiation, and fisting.

Nothing to do with religion. There is nothing that I know of in the Koran to say that sort of thing should happen, but if you can prove there is a Koranic edict I'll take that back. If it was a religious thing all the other Islamic countries would also have honour killings, but they don't. It's a cultural thing and likely predates Islam.

I think this is more a BS display of grandstanding by the US ( and France/ UK if they are also joining in ), as given the cost of the things I can't see an unlimited supply heading to Ukraine. IMO it's just part of the preparation for negotiations, rather than any attempt to win the war for Ukraine. With the propaganda reversing from "never stop till Ukraine wins" to "let's negotiate" there are going to be a lot of boys dying to get facts on the ground before the fat lady sings.

No one cared about your little list when faced with the possibility of her as POTUS. If the Dems were serious about winning they should not have put up an unlikable idiot that couldn't speak without a teleprompter and was afraid of a serious interview for the election.
