I believe they are ready, but as it's Harris on the next page, enough voters may choose to stay home to give it to Trump. The Dems have a problem, in that they keep choosing candidates that are just not up to the job, or popular enough. If Harris can't be further ahead of Trump at this stage of the race, it's her that is the problem, as after all, as has been pointed out a thousand times on this forum, Trump is the worst person on the planet. If she isn't doing better than the worst person on the planet, it has to be her, or her lack of policies, or her hiding from the media/ not answering questions, or just being unlikeable.

For anyone familiar with demolition by explosive ( there have been umpteen VDOs about it out there ), there is a pattern of collapse that is IMO unmistakable. If it just fell over the sequence of collapsing would be very different. Has anyone a better explanation of why it fell straight down, rather than sideways?

LOL. On my second visit to Bkk I got flustered and gave a 100 baht tip by mistake. I never made that mistake again. The guy that got it must have thought it was Christmas.

Thailand was the most fun place I ever lived in and it wasn't expensive. Where I live no one is having fun- it's rare to see a smile these sad days. I discovered British type humour in the most unlikely place, in Japanese anime. They have a very subtle humour that you will miss if not paying attention, and very funny but not in a slapstick laugh out loud way, more like a good belly laugh or a chuckle. Of course, not many posters on here would be into Japanese anime, though I've been watching it for over a decade.
