It might have helped her case had she given some actual policies or even promises to which she could be held. Trump ranted because that is what Trump does, but we know what Trump did, and we know what Harris supported. It does Harris no favours, IMO. The British have buyers remorse over Starmer, and IMO if Harris wins it'll be ten times worse than that for Starmer.

How can you argue she won, she spoke in talking points and gave almost nothing in fact? Anyone can promise the world but without giving any policies it's meaningless. Honestly, I wonder about your ideas. The Germans destroyed the British army in France, so how could they have liberated Poland? He did the failed missions in Norway, Crete etc to show the British citizens they were not irrelevant- a morale booster. Churchill botched some of them, but he did them for the right reason. The public needed hope to survive the onslaught. All he had to give them was hope.

Do you ever think about what you are saying? If Britain had not existed to host the Americans to launch the invasion of Europe, and the Soviets had won against Germany, who would then rule Europe post war? It would just have been one awful regime replaced by another awful regime.
