IMO it didn't matter who said what. Short of one having a Bidenesque melt down in full view of the entire human race, it was never going to make anyone change their minds. The undecided will likely remain so till the minute before they pull the lever or whatever they do now in a US election. Those that hate Trump will claim a great victory for the woman, and vise versa. The last debate will be remembered long into the future, but this one will likely be forgotten once the next "big thing" comes along for us all to pontificate about on here.

The human world is a barbarous and dark place and humans have been murdering each other since humans existed. We just got better at murder in the 50,000 or so years since. At this rate it won't be long before the last 2 humans on the planet try to kill each other.

Not at all. Had Britain not been a base off the coast of Nazi ruled Europe for American war supplies to be on shipped to Russia, Russia would likely have failed to defeat the Germans, and Stalin would probably have moved beyond the Urals, where the Germans would have ignored him. The allied invasion of D Day would never have happened, and Europe would likely still be German ruled. Don't forget that a Briton in Britain developed the computer which defeated Enigma, which allowed supplies from American to even cross the Atlantic. You may claim that Stalin could have defeated the Germans without American arms, but I vehemently disagree on that.

One could say that Gaia works in mysterious ways. If she can't reduce us by famine, flood, fire, bad weather, disease or war, she'll get the government to do it.

For anyone with eyes to read, it was obvious that the Afghan army was an illusion, and the whole thing was going to go down the gurgler once the allies pulled out- what a waste, but they should have left after destroying the Taliban. The 20 year occupation was a disaster that should never have happened, IMO. My beef isn't that the Afghan army collapsed ( IMO that was inevitable ), but that Biden made such a cock up of the withdrawal. Leaving all that equipment intact should have resulted in courts martial for the generals, and leaving so many Afghans that helped the allies is inexcusable.

It SHOULD pop, but IMO they will paper over the cracks and avert a civil war. If they can fudge their way out of the 2007 fiasco, they can fudge their way out of anything. It's notable that they learned nothing from that almost disaster. I wouldn't care, but, given the Great Depression example, America's mistakes get inflicted on everyone else as well. If it does pop, it's going to be really rugged in NZ which is financially embarrassed already, after the last shambles screwed us all.

Why? I doubt any of the women I had it off with in LOS had had less that that number of previous. Besides, if she is promiscuous, it means that there is a chance for any of us, though at my age about the best I could do is provide an appreciative audience while she took care of the biz. Besides, isn't that being hypocritcal? It's not like the old days where only men were allowed to do it with as many burds as possible, while good girls had to be married first. I just hope she made them all use a condom.

She's obviously clever enough to take some average songs and sexualise her appearance enough to propel her into the superstar ranks, but her concert that I saw was a bit pants- she should employ a better choreographer, and a concert manager with better ideas. Don't get me wrong, I really like her songs, even if the VDOs don't conform to the song, nice hum along songs to put one in a happy place, but none of that means she knows anything more about politics than any other young woman.

Does ANYONE care about what comes out of the W H now? The occupant is virtually invisible, we don't even know who is in charge, he's been let off prosecution because he's too old and decrepit, and he can't even hold it together for 90 minutes without a teleprompter. Not at all. IMO morals are something hypocrites wobble on about to make themselves feel superior. Most of us western guys that came to Thailand for the ladies are probably as guilty of <deleted> grabbing as he, but as we didn't run for POTUS we ain't getting fitted up by IMO political hypocrites in a weaponised judicial system. I am aware of that, but there is a limit to the detail I can put on any one post. If one wants to take me literally, that is up to them, but I try to believe that other posters that know something of the topic are capable of filling in the gaps for themselves without me having to lead them by the nose. Perhaps I'm wrong and those that read my posts don't know much of the subject, in which case I apologise, but I'm not going to revert to Janet and John type posts. I'll put a link where necessary, but it's up to others to interpret my ramblings as best they can.
