  1. You can keep saying Israel good, Gaza bad till the last Gazan is dead, but some of us disagree and are not going to change our minds.
  2. Seems we are on the same page on this situation. I agree with all of your post.
  3. Collective punishment is illegal under international law, but Israel doesn't take any notice when it doesn't suit itself. As an example of IMO how barking American reaction is, some high American official said they will make sure that Israel has everything it needs to win against a few lightly armed fighters, that have been surprisingly quite effective against the Israelis initially. It's like he doesn't know that Israel is one of the most militarised countries on the planet, armed with tanks, ground attack aircraft, and a very large army of thousands, but that guy is classing them as a "threat" to Israel. Considering that most of the military uses American weapons he must be a bit sad, IMO.
  4. I find it reasonably non biased, and most of the content on the English language channel is set in other countries around the world than the middle east. There has been more Palestinian content recently than any time I remember previously. They spend more time in Africa than I am interested in though. The only thing they are blatantly biased about is Trump, and they always were biased against him that I saw on there. They had the very best coverage of the Egyptian crisis when the president was overthrown.
  5. What about the innocents killed as collateral damage?
  6. Al Jazeera has been commenting on Israeli treatment of Palestinians for some time now. I doubt the BBC or CNN/ Fox have been. Perhaps Al Jazeera is not positive over Israeli actions given an Israeli soldier murdered an Al Jazeera journalist ( link given previously ), and no Israeli soldier will be held to account over it.
  7. Israel has all the power, so yes, it is all up to Israel.
  8. Topic isn't the holocaust, so I wasn't referring to that. I'm discussing the current situation.
  9. EG? Regardless of the present incumbent, some of the worst in my lifetime were Republican; Nixon, both the Bush's, Reagan. That's not to say the Dems were any better, though Kennedy was. Carter was a nice man even if a failure as president.
  10. That's hardly unusual on this forum. Most just can't be bothered getting upset if it isn't directed at them. If you don't like my contributions, the ignore button is easy to find.
  11. No, the topic is about an older man and a 12 year old girl. My wife was 30 years younger than me, but I met her when she was over 30, so hardly pedophilia. IMO it just goes to show that Joe has lost it. No politician that had a clue would say something like that in public for obvious reasons.
  12. If they are anti economic immigrants from Africa, and paying for Ukraine war, it's not looking good for the EU leaders.
  13. That's the first thing you said about this conflict that I agree with. Israel will use massive military might to crush the few Hamas soldiers, then attack Gaza, causing massive infrastructure destruction, although I expect Hamas will be prepared for any ground troops. However, I'm sure that all of the Palestinian soldiers taking part did so knowing they were going to die, and if captured will wish they had died. Meanwhile, Hamas has plenty of hostages in Gaza.
  14. Link? Get back to us when something is proven, as till then he's innocent.
  15. LOL. Some mental gymnastics at work here. If Biden said black was white, seems some on here would agree. Are you saying the wall being built is somewhere Trump didn't want it? More likely it's being built where Trump wanted it.
  16. But but but, Biden said walls don't work, so he must be referring to those Democrat built walls as well.
  17. Heart disease and diabetes are both side effects of obesity. Americans are often obese, so one might say they are the authors of their own health problems ( by gluttony ).
  18. It's rare to read a sensible post about the conflict on here. Well done.
  19. Indeed. The Israelis should read their own Bible ( the old testament ). 10. Proverbs 22:8 Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, and the rod of his fury will fail.
  20. Oh dear. Do you not know the history of the area? If you don't I see no point of discussing further with you. Bye.
  21. Israel knows that time is on the Palestinian side as their population is increasing faster than the Israelis, so eventually by sheer weight of numbers they can win over Israel. IMO this situation was tailor made for them to try and make the Palestinians leave and go somewhere else, though where that is does anyone know?
  22. Israel has been killing hundreds of Palestinians while suffering very few casualties in the past, so perhaps that comment can be redirected 180 degrees.
  23. If they wanted a treaty with Egypt they had to formally give the Sinai back. As for the reasons they wanted a treaty, and why one was even possible, one has to look at that war where Egypt overwhelmed Israeli forces in the Sinai.
  24. Of course it's always someone else's fault, isn't it? How about looking in the mirror?
  25. Ah, so you think that being allowed out of the prison to go work for the oppressors is a good thing. How about they are allowed to have a port to trade with other countries and work for themselves? That way they might even be able to get medical supplies, which are restricted by Israel.
