    Actually we are all living batteries with real seeming dreams. I seem to have picked a really bad dream. Someone else got the one where he is really rich and gets all the good looking women.

    I read an article that educated me about Thais many years ago. Basically a farang wanted to take a BG away on his holiday, so he told her to pack a bag and meet him. She didn't turn up. Later he asks her why and she says that she didn't own a bag, so she couldn't pack. I learned more about Thais from taking a "few" BGs on my beach holidays than I could ever have learned any other way. People that put Thais down really don't have a clue.

    In case you are confused, Trump hasn't been in charge for more than a few days. He can't do everything instantaneously. Being POTUS doesn't give him supernatural powers.

I don't know about the MSM ( not watching it ), but plenty on AN that were blaming Trump for every death that happened during the man made covid fiasco, even if with covid and not because of covid.

    Trump would like that, IMO. I think he's isolationist and doesn't care about world trade. Whether that is a good idea is irrelevant to him. He wants everything made in the US, so no need for imports. It's not like he hasn't been saying that for years. If one had been paying attention, one would know that.

    I've read a lot of nonsense on AN, but that has to win the prize. Make it 10-20 million would result in many Thai families losing the ATM as most could never afford that. Would anyone that could afford that much even want to live in Thailand? I doubt it. IMO they'd live in Singapore or Dubai, places with decent infrastructure and no burning pollution. Soooo, the larger economic punch turns into family disaster and not much money at all.

    So why did they not cancel flights till staffing was at the required level? Seems that along with DEI, safety was no longer a requirement. One hopes the responsibility is given to the actually guilty and not some lower level minion.
