I don't know what the population of Thailand is but I'll guess at 80 million so how many are actually eligable for this considering probably 1/3 are kids and another 1/3 don't need it. So it's actually sad to see a figure of 40 million thais that need a handout of 10k from the government.

Sibling rivalry is a nightmare, even my 16 year old boy will continuely say I love my daughter more (who is 14) if he does not get exactly what the other gets, for example if she needs extra money for school project or something and he doesn't need it, that's enough to get his jealously up, been doing it for years, it's going to be a problem in the future, and more importantly it will bring resentment to me and the wife for his mythical thinking.

I agree, I should of done that years ago move back with the kids but I didn't. Best advice I can give is to move back before it's to late, even if that means a bit of hardship for 6 months, be much better in the long run.
