Danish man on trial for theft in Bangkok Airport
2008bangkok replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Yes don't, because somebody could already stolen everything, ditched it, you find it hand it in and get blamed for stealing the contents. -
I feel for him being in a crappy Thai prison but come on, some bloke randomly approaches you while food shopping ask for Ice. Never happened to me before in all my years of being here. The police must have known he was doing something and setup a sting.

Cheers found it now but fiddly don't really use Google maps, but as. DB admin I would of thought be very easy to put in a search filter query asking list hotels after 300 km

Not exactly cycling but similar I want to do a 700km trip on my scooter, looking to stop mid point and stay in a hotel. Cannot see how to do this on Google maps, like search for hotel after 300km on route. Can it be done or any other app that will have this feature, cheers

To give the situation young v old, when I was about 25, I was in a TVR convertible (boss giving.me a lift home)as a passenger and the car must of rolled 5 times,. flipped me out, landed underneath the back axels,. smashed my stomach to bits.but at least after waking up with a colonstoby bag, that still not as painful as my head, maybe was at time time but...

Your missing the point, healthcare for Thais is not free, there are consessions if you meet the criteria but that's not everybody. For example I would class free healthcare as you can walk into any hospital in the country and get sorted like you can in the UK. That's free healthcare
-
I was nieve, I didn't know it affects it that bad, I literally thought it was a couple days thing, I wasn't drinking all the time, just sitting on the patio, few whiskeys with my music on. I have stopped drinking alcohol for now until it's sorted.

I had no bleeding apart from the cut itself which was on the harlone at the top of the head

About 1 mile, and they are not registered as they cannot be. Infact the main hospital where I'm staying at the moment Bang Lamung hospital don't even accept SS or 30 baht villagers so you have to register well outside the area to a hospital that will accept you. As a breakdown here is how it is, for the village people they introduced a 30 baht scheme to provide health care for the poor, this was one of Thaksins election policies and he made good on it. The SS/tax payees can nominate 1 hospital for free healthcare which if that hospital doesn't have the equipment the person needs then they can use a different hospital also for free for the purpose of that procedure only. But to suggest all Thai citizens have free healthcare is incorrect.

Like I said your wrong on this one, why does my ex wife still continue to pay direct to the social fund after being made redundant , purely based on the fact free healthcare in her nominated hospital, kids dont have that luxury so we pay for any treatment. I know for absolute fact also as IV paid many times so who wins this one?
-
Sorry Cheryl as your helpful, your wrong on this one

It isn't free for Thais here at all, don't know where you get that from, there was a 30 baht scheme for the village people in the taksin days, not sure if that's been grandfathered but after 2 kids in government hospitals, multiple times for them in hospital it certainly isn't free for Thais, unless you pay tax then the tax payer can nominate 1 hospital for free healthcare but only 1

I have never had any type of concussion before so it's weird but I am older since I last fell off something high lol. I went to Bangkok Pattaya, best private in Pattaya
-
Thanks, I will take a look at those Doctors
-
I saw the Nerologist at.Bangkok Pattaya, I didn't catch his name. The weird thing is that after the CT scan where he tells you the results he asked do I want it on CD, I said yes. When it came to paying as the nurses hold ya hand to payment counter, they didn't give me the CD nor did they even give me the little piece of paper with a write up of the results, when I asked they just said "No don't have that" and me being stupid as the doc basically said it will heal itself, I didn't question it. I should have done really. Im very disappointed with that hospital after a couple of issues like that example for one, and a misdiagnosis on a previous matter which meant the insurance company wouldn't pay based on my DVT being a pre existing condition when IV never had it before in my life. They linked thread veins in my ankle (which IV had all my life) to DVT, so they were able to get out of paying.

I had an accident a couple of months ago where I slipped and fell off an 8ft gate into my head. I cut it up but also immediately got pain in my head which I thought would be OK in a few days. Move forward 1 month the and the pain was still there so I went and saw a Neurologist and had a CT scan which they said was no bleeding and no brain fracture and just perhaps the brain just moved a bit and had trauma and it will sort itself out. Roll on 2 months and the pain is still there constant all day all night, so I am wondering if it will go away on its own or to have an MRI scan. What makes it more frightening is that if I drink alcohol (which I have stopped now) the pain is so intense for 3 days or so it makes me think something more sinister is going on which the CT scan hasn't picked up. Am I right to worry or should it take this long for the pain to disappear. TIA

Does anybody know the exact details if a boy wants to leave at 15, to go live somewhere else? IV posted about my issues so wojt go through the whole lot but if I have full custody and my is 15 can he just decide to leave, some have said yes, some have no 18, so have said 20. I do know if a custody hearing is set and the boy is 15 then the judge will take Into account his views, but that's not the same thing as it's already set.

It seems they are not no, shame really. The paperwork I had to show was for him anyway, photos round the house with both of us, copy of ID, copy of birth certificate, copy of house book, copy of divorce and papers showing full custody. No need for school reciepts or any proof what school he is at. Changing the blue book doesn't matter either as the one I showed wasn't even for the house we are living. The only really concern for them is who has custody of him and that's me and that won't change unless she wants to take me to court to see if it can be changed and I don't think she got the time or money to do that. Fortunately when the passport does come back as it's at immigration currently waiting after the 30 day consideration but next year I will be 50 so of I'm still here then I can get a retirement visa which doesn't need any paperwork about family stuff.

Fugitive British National Arrested in Thailand over £7m Fraud Case

Not that IV bothered checking but I would imagine that they all got 30 years together not each and the media run with that. That's way to extreme sentence. -
She is breaking the law as I am saying he cannot stay with her unless I say that's it's OK and I know he is actually there. Yes, I do want the police to drag him back and if necessary at least give her a warning, if she continues to flaunt the law have her charged. Like I said as much as I want to, I respect the decision about my daughter.
-
I already told you she is not allowed without my permission. And no I don't see my daughter if she doesn't want me to, which is becoming more frequent
-
Mate, sometimes I wonder about the stupidity of people. What law is broken is she is not allowed to have him, simple
