  1. The government vaccine registration websites being offered by the three TH mobile carriers have ZERO connection or relationship to whether a person is their phone service customer or not. Anyone who's eligible can use any of the registration front-end websites being offered by the mobile carriers, regardless of whether you have phone service with any one of them or not. But of course, you do have to give the system SOME TH mobile number in order for them to send back your registration/appointment information.
  2. Probably because, you indicated here you had your original two shots outside of Thailand. And the records they use here inside Thailand only reflect the injections done here. So as far as the Thai MoPH records system linked to your passport number was concerned, you were getting your first shot.
  3. Back when my effort to use the "new" reporting website was rebuffed at the beginning of the month, I tried calling that mobile number for MTT for the better part of a whole morning on a regular business/working day, and never got any answer. I just assumed it was/is a dead number. BTW, what the heck is Immigration doing using a mobile number for that kind of official business, as opposed to a regular 02 land line?
  4. There's no weblink to any new Entry Thailand website in the OP report... And in the OP, one part says the new platform has been "launched," while a later reference says it's "being developed." Ahh... but it does exist... in all its glory: http://entrythailand.go.th/en/
  5. And as of today, the government has opened Pfizer booster shot registrations for Thais and foreigners alike via the three major mobile providers websites.... For people who had various combos of two original shots at least three months prior, and are able/willing to make it to the Central Vaccination Center at Bang Sue Grand Station in BKK. https://www.ais.th/vaccinesforthais/
  6. I did my attempts on the "new" reporting website a couple days after it originally went live... I haven't tried again after that, as my deadline clock was ticking and I chose to do a mail-in report instead of trekking out to MTT. So I can't speak to whether things have changed since that time.
  7. I tried multiple times on the new site. Rechecked all my entered info. Got the same "contact your local Immigration office" screen pop up every time.
  8. I don't understand what you're asking above. I registered on the new website and logged in using my newly entered credentials. Entered in all my personal info on the first web page screen, then clicked to proceed to the next screen, and then got the web screen message saying I had to contact my local Immigration office. I never got to actually being able to submit my 90 day report via the new online system, because the website wouldn't let me go any further than the first data entry page. I'd call that a rejection, at least in terms of being unable to use the system to make a report.
  9. On the new system, I could register fine to get my log-in ID and password. But when I then went to actually use it, and filled in my personal info on the first web screen, and then clicked to proceed to the next step, I got a message saying I could not proceed and had to contact my local Immigration office. That's certainly a rejection prior to me being able to make an actual submission. I don't think I saved copies of the on-screen rejection message I got via the "new" 90 reporting website, since it just said I had to contact my local Imm office. But I did save copies of the rejection messages that I got when I then tried the Immigration Android app instead: Same with the app, unable to get past the first screen of just entering one's name, passport # and other basic info. Never get to the next step in the filing process. Just the messages above. And just to be clear, I'm NOT on overstay and obtained my new retirement extension at BKK CW in September, where the IO handling my extension of stay also had handled my prior 90-day report (done along with my extension paperwork).
  10. Seems as though the latest policy from the government regarding booster shots is a supposed THREE month wait for those who received two original AZ doses, and a SIX month wait for any who receivied two original Pfizer or Moderna doses. "People who were inoculated with the AstraZeneca vaccine for the first two shots can choose Pfizer or Moderna as their booster three months after their second jab, while those who have received two Pfizer or two Moderna doses can choose either of the two vaccines as their booster six months after their second shot." https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thailand-to-speed-up-vaccine-booster-shots/
  11. I'm in exactly the same position. Was always able to use the old online reporting system before my last Sept. 2021 new extension of stay authorization. After that, neither the old nor the new online reporting systems will work for me, and their Android app now says I'm on overstay back to the date of of my last extension of stay date. So obviously, they're not updating their database correctly. Calls to Immigration to try to get them to update my info in their database went nowhere.
  12. The AIS front-end registration site for MoPH vaccinations has limited booster shot registrations for farangs.... as follows: For Thais, aliens, and foreigners as follows. 1) Age 18 and above Location: Bang-Sue Grand Station, Fashion Island, Asiatique • Group 1: Never been vaccinated: get Dose 1 + Dose 2 • Group 2: Completed 2 doses of Sinovac / Sinopharm: get Dose 3 Location: Bang-Sue Grand Station • Group 3: Completed 2 doses of AZ within 31 Jul 21: get Dose 3 So, it appears to be saying, a farang who's gotten two original AZ doses can register with them for a third booster dose, but ONLY right now if they've gotten their 2nd AZ dose no later than July 31. https://vaccineforthais.ais.th/Reserve/Login If they're really going to adopt a three months after booster shot policy for double AZ recipients, they need to move back that July 31 eligibility cutoff date.... to at least September for right now.
  13. Except, the full article text of the OP article above now suddenly has the govt talking about a THREE month followup period for a third booster shot for those who received their original vaccination as two AZ doses. "People who were inoculated with the AstraZeneca vaccine for the first two shots can choose Pfizer or Moderna as their booster three months after their second jab," What the article doesn't say, though, is whether this supposed new policy applies to farangs as well as Thais, and, how/where to go about registering for that kind of farang 3rd dose booster shot. In checking today the government's Expatvac and ThailandIntervac websites for foreigner vaccination registrations, neither say anything right now about registering for booster shots.
  14. Got news for the "news". Many of the low-key streetfront bars around my central BKK neighborhood have been open and serving alcohol drinks since the beginning of December -- and they're NOT restaurants and for the most part aren't serving any meaningful amounts of food or meals.
  15. Can confirm the same... In the old 90-day online reporting system, I have a long history list of prior online reports filed. In the "new" online reporting system, which I checked while logged in, it shows no prior filing history for me whatsoever. So at least, it's "new" in regards to disregarding one's entire prior online filing history.
  16. Bad news! It may be a "new" 90 day reporting system, but they don't seem to have resolved one of the underlying problems with the old system -- wrongly locking out people for supposed overstay who aren't really on overstay. As I recounted above, I have an upcoming 90 day report due, and am currently within the 15 days before window. Have a valid extension just issued in September at BKK CW that's good until next September. But the prior 90 day system now won't let me file, and the Immigration Android app says I'm on 60+ days overstay. So, earlier today, I completed the registration process with the new system, and after about an hour, got their email with a password for their "new" system to successfully log-in, and go thru the "new" process of trying to file an online 90-day report. And what's the result of their "new" system? Same as the old system: AFAICT, they've simply put new lipstick on the same ole PIG!
  17. Just a tech tip on that issue.... When folks go to register, if they get one of the impossible to read Captcha codes, you can click a little button in the box to give you a new Captcha code, and keep clicking it successively until you get a new code that you can easily read and type.... as shown below. The button to generate a new Captcha code I highlighted in the red box. Hard to read: Easier to read, after multiple reloads of the code: PS -- when you reload the Captcha code, it does NOT reload the personal info you've entered above. In other words, you don't have to start all over again with data entry. It just reloads a new Captcha code only.
  18. This is the latest update from the MoPH for nationwide vax numbers thru Dec. 1 - 67.7% have received 1 shot, 58.3% have received 2 shots. The rows are the subtotals for individual target groups such as medical workers, seniors, etc. https://www.facebook.com/informationcovid19/photos/a.106455480972785/458480912436905/?type=3
  19. Is it a NEW system, or just them advertising/promoting the already existing / broken one?
  20. Ditto here, unfortunately. I've always been able to use the online reporting system in the past -- when it was functioning -- without any problem until this week (crying....) By way of background, got my new retirement extension at BKK CW last September, and the IO there did my 90-day report for me during the same visit since one was coming due soon thereafter. Thought I had it made in the shade, since surely a 90-day report done together with an extension via the IOs at BKK CW would get properly processed.... WRONG!!! Flash forward...went to do my next 90-day report via the online system last night, and repeatedly denied access after entering in all the basic data on the first screen. Got the familiar message reported by others on the screen "For further information regarding the 90-day notification Report Service, please contact the Immigration Branch Office in your residence area." Which tells me exactly NOTHING! So then went to the Immigration Android app, which, after logging in, informed me -- incorrectly -- that I'm on 60+ days overstay, so clearly that part of their system doesn't know somehow that I got a new annual retirement extension from them back in September. Tried calling the BKK Immigration telephone help line last night. Got a guy and explained the situation. His only advice was to go file in person at MTT. I asked him, how to fix their system so my valid extension gets updated and reflected. He said he's not a tech person and can't do it. We talked further. He claimed he doesn't even have access to look up callers' information in the Immigration computer system to see and check on any personal information/details... So.... USELESS! This morning, tried calling a mobile number I had for the 90-day reporting section at MTT. No one ever answered despite repeated calls. Ended up sending in my 90-day report today via EMS postal mail. What a bunch of #@#$#@s.
  21. fyi: 20 August, 2021 Chaos in the making? A look into Ashton Asoke’s predicament and the revocation of its building permit https://silklegal.com/chaos-in-the-making-a-look-into-ashton-asokes-predicament-and-the-revocation-of-its-building-permit/ Pisut & Partners advise and represent Unit Owners of Ashton Asoke on the potential or contingent risk of impact on the right over the properties https://pisutandpartners.com/pisut-partners-advise-and-represent-unit-owners-of-ashton-asoke-on-the-potential-or-contingent-risk-of-impact-on-the-right-over-the-properties/ The central adminstrative court, subject to a likely appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court, has revoked one or more building permits for an already completed high-rise luxury condo project. So what exactly does that mean? Lord knows, considering how things work here. One thing seems pretty clear -- nothing meaningful is likely to physically happen with the building / development itself until what could be a very drawn out appeals process is ultimately settled. In the meantime, however, I suspect the recent court ruling casts a considerable cloud over the ownership status of the existing owner-occupants. Not that they're likely to see the complex demolished, ever or any time soon. But the current case certainly would likely cast a pall over anyone looking to sell their existing unit under these cloudy circumstances. Separate from this case, I've watched the snail's pace crawling developments in the somewhat similar (but different) Aetas Ruamrudee case for many years. And as noted, that condo-hotel complex is still there and in business AFAIK, despite allegedly having been built too tall on a street not having sufficient width per Bangkok building regulations. The developer lost that case, AFAIK, but after that, the matter went back to the BMA, and thereupon seems to have fallen into a deep, dark invisible hole of Thai bureaucracy.... Stay tuned....
  22. The major TH mobile companies each have front end websites that offer MoPH registration for vaccines for people willing to get them in several Bangkok locations only. Also, the offers are limited to those who haven't received any prior vaccine doses OR those who only have received two Chinese doses (Sinovac or Sinopharm) to receive a third booster dose. AIS has a similar website for that kind of registration: https://vaccineforthais.ais.th/Reserve/Login PS - You don't have to be a mobile service customer of that particular mobile provider to use any of their vaccine registration websites that feed to the TH MoPH. They're open to the general public -- subject to eligibility rules.
  23. I was phone browsing new Samsung 5G phones sold by Samsung in the U.S. a few months back, and found almost nothing that matched with the limited 5G bands currently being used by Thailand's big 3.
  24. The Thai govt diddled in declining to support a 1.5 million dose Moderna vaccine donation from Poland as well.... https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thammasat-abandons-plan-to-get-1-5m-doses-of-donated-vaccine-from-poland/ The Thammasat University field hospital has abandoned its plan to accept a donation of 1.5 million doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine from Poland. The university has failed to obtain an official letter, from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirming its status as the Thai government’s official representative for receipt of the vaccine donation. The field hospital said in its update yesterday (Monday) that it had made all the preparations to facilitate the delivery of the vaccine from Poland, including logistic expenses, such as booking a flight from Poland on October 28th, freight, insurance and storage, as required by the donor, which also requires a formal confirmation from a Thai government agency that Thammasat University is the official representative for the receipt of the vaccine. The hospital said that it had contacted the Thai Foreign Ministry in Bangkok, requesting a formal letter to confirm its status... The ministry informed the hospital that, in accordance with regulations announced in the Royal Gazette, the hospital could proceed with the case on its own and should consult with the Disease Control Department directly.
