Most offices would not do it until your current extension is near ending. There is really no reason to do it earlier.

I had a reason to change from retirement to spouse extension in order to become a work permit.

Chiang mai imm won't change my extension and so I had to wait 9 months. What a drag.

That was a while ago though; things may have changed.

Neither was carrying oil according to reports

It was carrying 75,000 tonnes of a liquid hydrocarbon mixture called naphtha when it was attacked at 5am UK time, CPC Corp said. The cargo's value is estimated at $30m (23.7m

The Kokuka Courageous was carrying methanol from Saudi Arabia to Singapore????

My suspicious mind tells me that of course these ships didn't carry oil.  Would be shot in own foot. Or is that cargo more expensive than crude oil?

My house water pump is simply a socket connected to our second house.

Having said that it runs through a 6 way cct breaker box and before that is a Safe-T-Cut out box.

Way to go. If you get a shot at least you won't die. It almost feels like a real shot; got some myself. Just stupidity.

Oddly enough, they are, at least on new installations.

Just like back home, the regulations are not retrospective.

As I wrote myself >>All electrical installations should imo have mandatory circuit breakers (maybe already declared a law).<<

Yes, I know it's not all that easy and if a new law isn't that harsh it is easier to have it retrospective.

Silly example maybe, but true; The law on wearing a helmet when riding a moped or heavier 2 wheeler. Nobody was wearing one; protected by the Gods. Now suddenly everyone must buy a helmet and wear it. For what? Not to possibly die in an accident? Does the government care?

A circuit breaker is more expensive and that hurts for many Thai. So should the government not subsidize to protect it's citizens.

It feels like a double standard. It's okay to die from electrocution but not when having a traffic accident.

    Okay, enough.

What a ridiculous post. Why's the government responsible for the poor German man's death, when he forgot to pull the main fuse?

Accidents do happen, and they happen all over the world. ????-

See my ridiculous explanation just above your intelligent response. It is not about accidents that happen. No, these accidents can be avoided. Do you have a circuit breaker in your living area? Government should make them mandatory.

    Lethal injection now I think.

All due respect to the deceased and family of this tragic, and yes, avoidable accident.

No, not lethal injection. All the people that get electrocuted because installations are not properly approved or maintained, being it in hotels, houses and in the street. That's a responsibility of the authorities.

We all know about people dying from taking a shower, pissing against a utility pole and lots of other thinkable reasons.

All electrical installations should imo have mandatory circuit breakers (maybe already declared a law).

If one doesn't have a circuit breaker installed, I think that one is playing Russian roulette and in my view that is stupidity. as is driving a motorbike without wearing a helmet. And the latter is controlled by the police.........

Again another toxic comment. Maybe someday somebody you know and love will die from an accident in front of you. Put yourself in his wifes place. Have you no respect and compassion for another human being. If your talking about stupidity then may I suggest peering into a mirror. Shouldn't take long.

Tell your righteous tales to the government, who is responsible for many death by electrocution.

    Put the price up

Fascinating though. Last time I traveled out of Thailand, agent P&P came up with Thai Air flight CNX-BKK. Now hold on I said, to expensive, I'll do with BKK air. Seemed Thai Air had a promotion !??!. Okay, why not; luggage free and booked through on international. Never heard of TA doing any promotions.

Stop being Hi-So Thai Air and make your flights affordable to many/all people.

I must say, Thai Cargo is very good. Many flights and same price as the rest.
