If I want to sell my own thai registered motorcycle with green book, what documents must I have?
What kind of visa must I have?
Will I need a Certificate of Residence?
If so, what do I need for that and how long will it take?
And what documents must the buyer have?
I am in Chiang Mai

I did get another 30days visa exempt at the huai kon/muang nguen border with laos

Ubonjoe,
"Ma Sai again or Chiang Kong again. Mae Sot would probably not work either since it is in same immigration region as the other 2,"
is Nan crossing in the same region?

I agree, I should get an ED visa, or retirement visa, but my immediate concern is whether I shall be allowed back into thailand with a visa exempt/v.o.a. this week, so I can continue to arrange my life here and get a proper visa
It does seem like nobody has actually been physically refused entry at the border
-
Who thinks I will be refused a Visa on Arrival?
Any precedents?
-
I was told at Mae Sai, and Chiang Kong, that I wouldnt get a 30day Visa on arrival there next time.
because I had 3 back to back v.o.a. there.
Also Vientiane would only give me a single entry tourist visa, for the same reason, like I had not spent much time out of thailand in the last year or so.
So I have to get anew visa this week.
What is the current legal situation, and is it always enforced?
Is it likely that I shall be refused entry to Thailand now?
Has this happened to anyone recently?
will I have to stay in Tachilek for 3months?
Would a different border (eg NAN) make a difference?
Or do I really have to stay out of thailand this time, and how long for?
It is inconvenient for me to suddenly leave the country now.
I am not working here, nor married

Update-
I had no problem getting a visa on arrival at Chiang Kong/friendship bridge

Natura Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil-is it really cold pressed?
I'd like to know before I add it to all my salads etc
Its on the shelf in supermarkets etc here
-
I got a red stamp in Vientiane, and was only given a single entry tourist visa there in October 2013.
Was given a piece of paper saying mmany people had been working without permits.
Last time I went to Mae Sai (2nd time since october) for visa on arrival, they told me I couldnt go there again, and said I would have to fly into Thailand the next time.
So my questions are; , can I still get Visa on Arrival some other land crossing?
Can I still get tourist visa from another place(Svannaket,Penang,Phnom Penh, Rangoon etc)?
Or do I need to fly back into thailand?

In Win7 and up, it will work automagically with the steps describes above.
In WinXP you will need to take some additional steps, see this article:
tried this but new hardware wizard couldnt find the driver
nor can I log into the hotel wifi on mobile....

Turn on the personal hotspot in iPhone settings and then look in wifi list on pc and select the iPhone, enter password and bingo
Tried that, but still no wireless network connections icon in the network connections folder
Looks like I need a usb wifi stick
-
theres no wireless card on the computer
thats why I want to try this
-
How does one connect a computer(xp) via USB to a phone to use the wifi?
Do you use an app? which one is free and easy?
Do you need to download software to put on the PC?
Would prefer to use iphone but can use android if its much better

I got some doxycycline from a Pharmacy, and the pain stopped in a day or two
Now need a good dentist
-
I'd never heard of gel shorts before.
How are they in the heat here?
-
tramadol for tonight, if the pain comes back
-
Go get the tooth pulp removed and you will do much much better, by the way that's the first step of a root canal.
Can I do that at one dentist, then finish treatment at another?
I understand it takes some time for things to settle down before the treatment is finished, and I may be out of thailand by then
-
I thought that the pain was stopping on day4,,but it started again
-
I have a lot of pain in my teeth, I did see a dentist already, and took a course of Amoxicillin (5days already)
It still hurts a lot, maybe half the time.
I had an infection in the teeth and need root canal treatment
But now I need the pain to stop
The dentist told me that the antibiotic does not kill the pain, it kills the bacteria, and that the pain would increase then fade away after 3-5days. Is that right?
I was given Ibuprofen 400mg for the pain.
If the Amoxicillin does not work, (it did not work for me a few years ago)what antibiotic should I use?
How long does the antibiotic take to kill the pain?

The Montana is $165 plus $35 postage to repair iirc. Then you have to send it to them in Taiwan as well.
While the Garmin fee is a lot sometimes, it should keep Garmin on their toes regarding quality
Whilst warranty issues may be slightly different, my last 3 replacements have been due to water getting in,
and I believe it is because they were not up to standard.
They should be waterproof to IXP7, and definitely were not

Maestro (post 28)
The paper I have is virtually the same content wise, worded slightly differently
Snake in driveway tonight

I've never seen a krait, nor a Russels Viper in the wild
Probably never will, most of the wildlife here has been hunted out many years ago.
Now its more a fashion than a necessity, than it was before, or for money to sell to some rich idiot that wants to eat endangered species.
Some people kill anyone/anything for money. Most of the last rainforest in Borneo, cambodia etc is being destroyed, along with everything in it, for someone's greed.
So what can we do? just accept the fact that the world will soon be a concrete jungle, for the very rich?
Or join in with the violence that has gone on for thousands of years, this people against that people, and then the other people, There's no ending to it.
Like some large "countries" or "religions" just want to kill everything that they dont(cant be bothered) to understand, or doesnt join in with them
There has to be another way
Noone has the right to take anothers life. You can read the Human Rights declaration, or just try to understand, think for yourself.
But where does it all end? Can you kill a gorilla, or a cow, an ant, a flower? Or a snake?
Do the farmers in UK have the right to exterminate all badgers, because they might be one of thecauses of Bovine TB in cows, and they want to farm millions of cows allover the land and make loads of money, from meateaters, until they can be bothered to find another way to make money.
And when it's you that's in the way.....?
