Students Fatally Stab Each Other at Sisaket Province School

Why not? Lunchtime? Teachers should have a duty to care to their students at all times. Leaving kids alone to let off steam is neglectful in my book. -
Students Fatally Stab Each Other at Sisaket Province School
rbkk replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
From my 15 yrs experience as a teacher here in Thailand it is highly likely that the students were left unattended as it was lunchtime. Many a time I have been witness to students physically assaulting each other during the lunch break. Not a homeroom teacher or assistant in sight is normal for govt. and private schools both primary and secondary level. My many suggestions to stagger teacher lunch break times was never more than nodded at. The most notorious age for aggression is M2 (Mathyom) due to the hormones. Broken noses, compass stabbings, glass classroom doors smashed the list goes on, are all par for the course; sadly. -
Vivo S16(?) /V27 Pro(?) budget below 20,000 baht.

Thank-you for that. I have seen and read your linked site previously but am wary of the differences in specs between ,say India, indonesia and Thailand. I thought a Thai site would show the specs of the model available here in Thailand rather than Internationally. Perhaps my wariness is misplaced. Sadly it would appear to confirm that the Vivo V27 does not have wifi-6. The Vivo V27 Pro does but not in colour options my wife or I like. The Vivo S16 is not available in Thailand so the purchase is on hold till something suitable arrives. -

Vivo V27 here...https://www.siamphone.com/spec/en/vivo/v27.htm Vivo S16 here...https://www.siamphone.com/spec/en/vivo/s16.htm -
My wife wants to buy for herself a new phone. She has been using my old Vivo 7+ and is used too it. She has set a budget of 20,000 baht and it must be a Vivo! The Vivo V27 looks a very pretty phone (Emerald Green) but on closer inspection it seems to be a cheaper/lower specs version of the Vivo S16 (China). The V27 Pro is not yet in Thailand but the colour options black/blue only are a deal breaker. Wifi 6 is a must. The S16 specs/colours are what she's after ( Better processor + camera + wifi6 +colours) but sadly i can't find it yet in Thailand. Does she need to think away from Vivo or just wait?

I'm accusing every Thai school director I've met and worked for (5) of being corrupt and the Ministry of Education (MoE) of being complicit. An umbrella accusation. Pattama obtained her position from the MoE. The list of corruption encompasses.....1) Building tenders 2) African teachers being contracted for 28,000 baht but only recieving 20,000 baht. 3) Charging foodcarts at the front of school for plots on a public road (Dismissed after public outcry) 4) Only purchasing textbooks from the publishers that pay the highest commision not the cheaper/better books. 5) A director owning 3 brand new Mercedes at his home in another province. 6) Using school funds to pay for his trips to underage Cambodian girls across the border. 7) A high school ran out of paper for the printers and had to delay end of year exams because the budget had been so depleted on excursions. The director dodged the bullet by having his head of finance moved.

Experience. I worked for 15+ yrs in 3 different schools and all the director's (5) I personally knew were corrupt. It's sadly par for the course here. if your saying she is not corrupt now it is only a matter of time. The odd's of getting a job as a director of a school, at a young age, without a payment and before older more experienced candidates is extremely small. The Ministry of Education are the root cause.

I can confirm this. I was a teacher here for 15+ years and this endemic cancer of corruption is inoperable. I chose to be a whistleblower but the winds of change were, as I expected, blowing the other way. I am lucky that financially the hit was managable and the respect i have earned for my principles amongst those that matter has been worth it. That was all 4+ yrs ago...

There was a full-moon party at Had Rin Beach on Thursday night attended by 20,000 people. Seems to be a deadly place as a Brit girl died last year after taking a drug bought from there. The story is here
