  1. Ok, and on the label on box the reason underlined and in italic below. Vimovo contains two different active substances: naproxen and esomeprazole. Each of the medications works differently. Naproxen is anti-inflammatory and reduces stiffness and also pain. Naproxen belongs to a group of medicines called "non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs" (NSAIDs). Esomeprazole reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and reduces the risk of ulcers and stomach problems in patients using NSAIDs. Esomeprazole belongs to a group of medicines called "proton pump inhibitors". Pain relief is expected to come on quickly and last for several hours. Stiffness in the joints is reduced so that it becomes easier to be physically active. Thanks Felt
  2. Thanks for replying. I ask because in most of Europe this is a prescription medication and I have asked a relative to pick it up for me there and send to Thailand! Will that be a problem if the customs check the parcel? Felt
  3. Anyone who know if Vimovo is considered a drug in Thailand? I mean Voltaren is a potential more dangerous NSAID that can be bought over the counter everywhere here! VIMOVO 500 mg/20 mg modified-release tablets - Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) - (emc) Thanks Felt

  5. Hmm...would be great but never heard about, and I have had bank accounts in both Krungsri and Bangkok Bank for years. However, the prepaid Credit card I have had with both. Felt

  7. No way you get a receipt for an unauthorized payment from "someone" operating a business outside of the official building then they would not only cheat the applicant but can end up been fired and prosecuted. Felt
  8. Sorry, with as long time in the country as.... well, the founder, I also from that part of the world where we let immigrants, refugees etc. live their own lives as long as they obey the law, it gets a bit too much of a better than u made " show making discussion " to be reading on a forum how I shall live in Thailand apart from following law and regulations. Met both locals and foreigners here some good and some less good general behavior, but nothing I have seen and observed here or from individuals will make me adapt into a feudal society. I follow what I learned as a child as right/wrong no matter what part of society it is about. Btw, I get by in Thai, not fluently, but I manage. I have been to many, but not all, places in Thailand over time, have participated in everything from Thai / International sport events, religious sermons, delved into the culture and observed cultural differences and I respect the citizens' view of "their values" follow the law and that's it. Btw, have we forgot "Thai Visa a in the 90`s😉 Felt

  12. I flew out of Suvarnabhumi 10 days ago and went through Immigration with the new system they are now using (scanning passport and photograph of the traveler) and I was not in contact with any Immigration officer. How does this work when you return, is it the same and if so how do you deal with later 90 day reports, address notification, etc.,. I mean without a date stamp in your passport? Thanks Felt
  13. Holy crap for an aggressive commenter. Find you another forum. First thing first, do you say I not need a re-entry permit anymore when I have a one year retirement visa if so thank you its saves me Thb 3800,- annually. Two, I don't think I need what you write as "on way ticket" above which what I guess you try to say is "onward ticket" Btw, the whole reason I posted the question is because of the constant changes in the visa rules and regulations related to them and just wanted to make sure there weren't any recent new rules I wasn't aware of. Felt😉
  14. I have found that I can get a better total rate if I buy one way tickets bot outbound and inbound now in low season with some airlines and I have a valid re-entry permit. Any issues inbound? Thanks Felt
  15. Yes, it's probably a good idea, but I've anyway decided to take a "medical autumn holiday" in my home country and expect that the doctor will order both an X-ray and an MRI. I would have liked to not travel and have treatment here but am getting a little tired of finding a specialist hand doctor who initially prioritizes conventional treatment as far as possible. So far two top hospitals in Bangkok says surgery just with looking at the x-ray without even a personal consultation😕 Felt
  16. I just picked the article from the web and of course the calorie content will vary according to the quality of the ingredients and not least the chef. I myself can eat Pad Khaprao daily if I wanted to without any weight gain, but then again I exercise daily so the calorie requirement is of course somewhat high. Felt

  21. Well, I guess I should have been a little more careful, but now I've been around with this thumb / hand for a few months already, so it seems a little unreal that a major hand surgery would be necessary! I am attaching one of the x-ray images taken a few days after the incident. Felt
  22. I'm concerned you're right Sheryl but that said a major surgery seems a bit unreal as I use my hand/thumb daily but there are things like holding the throttle on the motorcycle, wringing out a washcloth, turning off a cork on a bottle and generally with what we do daily where the thumb is used which induces pain. In any case, I'm crossing my fingers for an easier second opinion. Felt
