  1. A good post "commerce"...thx for sharing. As you said we hear these stories from all over the world.during the last century and into this one the world(society) gets sicker every day.

I appreciate your response. But not really a 'good' post, as opposed to an eye-opening one. It's a very sad situation that this still goes on, even in the so called Western developed nations, with their social services in action etc. I wasn't sure whether or not to post such, as it is deeply saddening, and yet it is truth and the evidence lives in DNA proof. I just received wonderful news today about my own recovery from a physical illness, and I feel great, emotional, and positive. However, referring back to the case I experienced, the mental damage can NEVER be undone. The daughters are really messed up psychologically, and thus so is the next generation, and the next. It also affected me, although in minor ways.

I wish I could bring belated prosecution to the bastard father, but it is not within the realms of my remit, even though I (despite having little contact with the family, but do) read totally effed up characters in the family that will not seek help. Some even continue in the image of their father, and that is more frightening. The latter really is the scary part.

At least this Thai girl has removed herself from the abuse, and spoken out. A great many do not - and that is the greater bleakness of what is real in many societies, especially Thai - and I say especially Thai because it is believed that 25% of Thai girls suffer sexual abuse in some way or other at home. My source for that is one of Thailand's top psychologists who I cannot name for obvious reasons, but am able to share in private messaging. Not that the latter needs much questioning.

yes my choice of words was not the best but you know what i meant.breaking the cycle is the difficult part."like father like son" comes to mind.

  2. we have a mountain of farming experts here, very few of whom would dare to leave their air-con office if their life depended on it let alone work on the fields, of course they don't need to having had a first class education unlike the Thai farmer but that's all his fault,

you dont need a first class education to know its folly to go out and buy a new SUV while living in a shack. You do need common sense, and as far as i can see thais do not possess any common sense at all.

I have yet to see a farmer with a SUV, a 20 year old pick up if lucky yes but usually an old motorbike, i don't know what farming community you live in but in the North-East they are hard working, resourceful and poor.

then you have n't visited southern thailand where the best rubber is grown.

  4. It's easy to raise a child and make it develop empathy. Then later there is much less chance of the grown up to become a rapist or murderer or some other criminal. But for that there's the condition that one loves his/her child. How can any mom or dad do that to a child? Cage the animals!

Darwin would recommend castration to end a defective gene line.

chemical castration would do the job and 20 years in a thai jail.

  5. I hold the hope of the above posters but regret I fear a darker future for Nigeria with Sharia insistent Buhari. Notwithstanding another conflicting religious freedom affirmation, he is a strict sharia supporter. He may object to Boko Haram's behavior, but not its aims.

Nigeria represents the next great loss in Africa: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/12/insurgency-buharis-call-full-sharia/

had no idea he supported sharia law.If this is what he wants for nigeria,i pity nigerians future.

  6. Nonsense,

The old man gave them the land, and is now pulling the power play, alongside his daughter

Why westerners build houses on land they don't own, with all the failed stories out there is baffling

am not sure you are correct? It was the father's land and he put it in her name, does n't say when.that was why i raised the point about "maybe he was pissed off they built the house on his original land rather than the husband buying land separately to build the house.

  7. rolleyes.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.gif The woman is incredibly tired raising a 2 year old and a baby and suffering with horrible flu. She hasn't slept in months and is run down with flu. She over reacted and is crying out for help with the kids and some time to herself.

On top of all that she has her family on her back and you know what that's like for a Thai girl.

Some of you really need to get off her back and stop judging her due to your own inadequacies with woman and the behaviour of the only women you can 'attract' due to those inadequacies.

Part of what you say maybe true, and the OP is doing the right thing(being supportive). The problem seems to be with the in-laws.Could it be that the FIL is angry cos he bought his daughter the land and her new farang husband has got away with just building the house on this land instead of buying more land to build the house on?...sometimes it could be just this simple. If what i suggest is correct maybe the OP could be extravagant and buy him something he wants that's expensive....might work!

  8. It beggars believe that so many westerners leap off buildings in pattaya and bangkok.....is it a coincidence that in nearly every occasion said man has been arguing with his tilak!....i dont believe in coincidences...do you?

As another poster said " we never hear of this happening back home",so why here!

I recommend every disturbed western man in a dodgy relationship come to Koh Samui where buildings are only permitted to be built 3 story's high.

There could be a downside though as hit man are regularly purchased for as little as 10,000 baht to get rid of someone.

  9. you dont understand her mentality? to be honest i dont understand your mentality allowing her so much control and allowing her to abuse that control to the detriment of your relationship with her, your marriage, your son and your own life and finances. but that's in the past.

the marriage is finished and you would be a fool to invest any more money in it even if you feel up to investing more emotion in it.

if your son has british citizenship and you feel you can take care of him in the UK then take him there.

if he has thai citizenship then he'll be staying here. and you have to decide if you are staying or not.

Does not matter if he thinks he can take care of his son, he brought the boy into the world and now MUST raise him alone, away from the rape and torture and ultimate sex slave trade she will sell him too

What is wrong with you people who advise him otherwise

If the kid has a passport from UK, leave today

Immigration has no authority to stop him, yet

I dont think this is true.He would need the mother's consent.
