  1. Didn't you post this same topic a couple of days ago?
  2. One would think that the police have ample evidence to obtain a court order to examine the girl's bank account, which would possibly throw some light on her disappearance. But I doubt we will get any update.
  3. I thought everyone knew that spaghetti was grown in Swiss and Italian orchards.
  4. Was that the annual spaghetti harvest?
  5. They fly south for the winter.
  6. Central online shop ... https://www.central.co.th/en/marksspencer-no-peel-orange-marmalade-cds92067042 A bit cheaper - and it's Marks & Sparks!
  7. On Lazada ... https://www.lazada.co.th/products/import-foods-robertsons-golden-shredless-marmalade-454g-454-i3026246633.html But, very expensive.
  8. Wow! But ... According to Wiki, she only served 4 years of that sentence. "On 27 July 1989, Chamoy and seven accomplices were convicted of corporate fraud. She was sentenced to a total of 141,078 years or life imprisonment sentence in prison but Thai law at the time stated that the maximum sentence that could be served for fraud was 20 years. Her sentence was further reduced, twice, and she was released in 1993.[1]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamoy_Thipyaso
  9. It's explained in this article ... https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourtscalamity/crime-crime/2024/10/14/the-icon-group-scandal-echoes-past-frauds-as-thai-celebs-face-backlash/
  10. The article doesn't say whether Na is male or female, but it's fairly obvious that the girl has been the victim of a romance scammer.
  11. It's hard to feel sorry for anyone involved in this scheme. Even those at the lower end of the pyramid must have known that the only way to get a return on their "investment" was to recruit more victims - often family or friends.
  12. Shouldn't that be chickens? (before the eggs are hatched)
  13. I just completed this quiz. My Score 90/100 My Time 101 seconds
  14. In another of your topics you complain about the high price of flip-flops ($5 Australian). The 600 baht they saved could buy 5 pairs.
  15. Yes, and (IIRC) her ex-husband (a police officer) is likely to be jailed too - for concealing evidence.
  16. I am British. I support the idea of an Australian republic, provided that a clear majority of Australians want it. In the last referendum Australians rejected the idea of a republic, by a clear majority - but that was 25 years ago. I think it's about time for a new referendum.
  17. The man has (allegedly) raped 2 girls and threatened to kill family members if they tell. They have told. But the police will wait for him to surrender. What could possibly go wrong.
  18. Is the tank properly vented? A blockage in the vent pipe can cause flushing problems. A symptom might be air bubbling up from the U-bend as you flush.
  19. I just selected part of your post for my reply, but I understand and agree with what you are saying overall. As far as I can tell, there were just 6 staff members looking after about 30 kids aged 4-14. That does not seem like sufficient staff to evacuate a bus in an emergency. Maybe recruiting some parents to help is not a bad idea.
  20. Lots of information in a previous topic ...
  21. Free on the steps outside any temple.
