Mega-structures Confirmed Beneath Egypt's Giza Pyramids
- Cars that drive slow in the right lane drive me nuts
I move over to the left lane and stay a safe distance behind that slow mover. Within seconds a Thai driver will arrive in the right lane and sit a couple of meters behind that slow mover until it is forced to get out of the way - doing the job I am not willing to do myself.- Thai Airstrikes Hit Cambodian Positions as Clashes Escalate
Cambodia has been using drones. F-16s have been used to destroy a drone factory and a cable car that was being used to transport weapons to the border area.- Trump wins the FIFA Peace Prize . . . 'needy' or what ?
- Anutin: No Cambodia Talks, Ceasefire Only Under Thai Terms
One side is planting land mines in disputed areas and launching munitions into civilian locations. The other side is responding by targeted bombing of military installations. It's hard to understand why some people are siding with Cambodia.- 500 posts per week. Can't see them (mostly) not on AN.
You are correct. Popular it is.- British Woman, 75, Killed Crossing Road in Nonthaburi
Do you honestly think she would have been safer if she'd been crossing at that designated crossing point? I'm sure there are numerous examples of people being killed on those crossings. Personally, I am of the opinion that the driver was on the phone and didn't even see the victim until she heard the crunch of bones.- Is untoasted bread on a hot sandwich a crime?

You can read all of their posts on AN, but you would need to visit all of the forums and sub-forums, Just one example: One of my favourite members@ballpoint is currently at 454 posts this week. He/she/it 😉 posts a lot in the "worst jokes ever" sub-forum. If you don't visit that forum you will not see those posts. If you want to see all their posts, click on their names and choose "see their activity".- Thai girl was totally shameless
I agree. But, credit where it's due, it has been quite an achievement to keep this fiction alive for 107 pages.- Is untoasted bread on a hot sandwich a crime?
The flavour of a bacon sandwich, or a beefburger, will be massively improved by frying (not toasting) the inside layers of the bread or bun in the fat of the bacon or burger. You may die a few years earlier than expected, but it will be worth it.- Pattaya Invites Public to Mass “CPR on the Beach” Training
30 beats then 2 breaths - repeat until the ambulance arrives.- The New F1 season. 🏁
If not for the Las Vegas disqualification and the very poor team tactics last weekend, Lando would have it in the bag. I still think he will win the championship, unless he and Oscar get in each others way. If by some chance Max does take the title, nobody can say he doesn't deserve it.- British Woman, 75, Killed Crossing Road in Nonthaburi
If a pedestrian stepped out in front of me, even if just a few metres in front, I would have jumped on the brakes and/or swerved to avoid her (if I was paying attention). In the video, albeit not great quality, it is clear that the Fortuner did not swerve or brake (braking would show a dip of the car's front end). IMO the Fortuner driver did not see the pedestrian. We can speculate on the reason for this - I hope the police have checked her phone records.- British Woman, 75, Killed Crossing Road in Nonthaburi
"there really was nothing the Fortuner driver could have done to avoid the accident." I have to disagree. She could have stamped on the brakes or moved over into the left lane (which was free of traffic). The video shows that no evasive action was taken, which leads me to suspect that her attention was elsewhere. I hope the police have checked her phone records.- Andrew to Move from Royal Lodge with No Payout Due to Repairs
Hi Lou. You said ... Why did you not quote the whole paragraph? The Crown Estate is owned by the Monarch “in right of the Crown”. This means that while the King owns the estate during his reign, it is not his private property and he does not manage or make decisions about its assets. The way I read it is that the King does not control the Crown Estate.- Andrew to Move from Royal Lodge with No Payout Due to Repairs
I'm not sure that is accurate. Seems the King does not control the Crown Estate ,,, https://www.thecrownestate.co.uk/about-us/our-history- CT angiogram
Every time you have an unnecessary scan, etc, someone else (who may really need it) gets bumped further down the queue. If you can live with that, so be it. But, IMO, you are a not much better than a bludger.- CT angiogram
Weekly? I don't think so. And, every dollar spent on your free and unnecessary scans/blood tests/ultrasounds is a dollar less that can be spent on really ill people. Please think about that.- CT angiogram
In another thread you told us that, when in Thailand, you visit Dr Olivier in Pattaya once every week for a prostate examination. IMO, you are an hypochondriac who is wasting valuable health care resources. I will add that, if true about your weekly prostate examinations (I don't believe you) a doctor who is willing to take your cash for such unnecessary procedures is a charlatan. From all the positive reports I hear about Dr Olivier, I believe you are lying.- Worst Joke Ever 2026

The dashcam footage appears to show that the Fortuner didn't swerve or brake. I hope the police check her phone records.- British Woman, 75, Killed Crossing Road in Nonthaburi

You need to contact your pension providers and find out what your widow's entitlement will be, and exactly how she can claim it. They will probably need your marriage certificate, a copy of her birth certificate, a copy of the death certificate, and details of her bank account. If you have someone you trust back home, you could give them your wife's power of attorney so they can deal with your pension providers on her behalf. My wife has given power of attorney to my 2 adult children in the UK, and I have sent copies to my pension provider. Hopefully, this will make things much easier for her when the time comes. - Cars that drive slow in the right lane drive me nuts
