My wife (Thai) and I each have a WISE account. Apart from the initial setting up of our accounts, neither of us has had to verify anything. My wife transfers money, using the "tuition fees" option, the money arrives within seconds. We are both transferring monies from UK pension payments which have been deposited directly into our WISE accounts. Our joint and individual bank accounts have been closed by Barclay's, because we don't have a UK address, so WISE has been a godsend for us.
