  1. After being an early supporter of the EEC, Thatcher was turning away from the EEC/EU by the late 80's, which did for her. politically. She was a Brexiteer long before 2016. Cameron would have known all that but trapped himself into the referendum possibility anyway. Well done DC.
  2. You're right - there wasn't much substance to it.
  3. True - it seems that the Democrat magic is very powerful.
  4. I thought the Dracula rant was much creepier:
  5. You sound just like JB - uniting the country and all that.
  6. Electing the super MAGA election deniers in the midterms will be a sign they are not being stopped. What are they?
  7. Can you back up any of this?
  8. Damn - never thought of that. But the difference is that the UK PM/Cabinet generally qualify because they are elected MPs in the first pace.
  9. My stance is that even now, nobody knows exactly what was found, what might be allowed as evidence and what that evidence might mean in court. Now I will retire for the day and watch the soccer before I'm accused of trolling again.
  10. Relevant to the post I replied to but you probably missed that.
  11. He's a bit late with that advice, innit?
  12. Your detailed list is low on detail. Now where is the "ton of evidence" that the govt went out of its way to avoid making this a criminal case?
  13. Ton of evidence? Nobody has produced anything and everybody still knows nothing.
  14. I don't think that the "media" was the prime concern of the British, as they advanced democracy. Sweden just had a democratic vote. Why complain? That the right has an increased share of that vote is a reflection of rising concerns about the increase in violence and violent crime there.
  15. I think I said that already. But maybe I didn't. Hmmm.....zzzz Get my cocoa and cookies, Jill.
  16. Well blow me down with a feather - that didn't take long - Trump back in the mix by line 3!
