Thailand has about 25.000 deadly traffic accidents a year,
So about 68 a day.
7 x 68 = 476!!
So I find the figures they come with not realistic.

No more M.r Niceguy, let's see how the Thai deal with that.
-
how about a fair ticket system and not force people to buy longer distance tickets then they really need?
-
Think we all know the outcome already: NO referendum, would be too democratic anyway...something the Thai can not handle.

Dapong said the haze in the North had dropped thanks to measures by various agencies to cut contributing factors, particularly clearing fields by burning.
So it was not last week rain that cleared the Haze?

With a serious shortage of skilled labor in Thailand, the Director said many more foreigners might move in to steal jobs from Thai people. He said Tourism officials should urgently seek to increase both the number and quality of Thai workers to international standard to improve the Kingdom’s competitiveness in tourism.
But how?

Great news, did I not read yesterday that too many Thais are spending too much money abroad, and Thai tour operators worried about that?

They should use me as bait, I can give them 17 drivers an hour that don't turn on the meter or refuse me as customer.

Rate of the baht and Thai don't need a visa for Japan anymore...
Plus Sakura and Thai's like Japanese food ( there are more Sushi restaurants here in Chiang Mai then in Tokyo) a perfect mix to go out for a holiday.
Hope they keep there eyes open, and discover there is more then Thainess...

Rain
in Chiang Mai
Faham, soo far NO rain...
-
why not ask them?
-
Just in time before we get rain next week....

So revolution comes from an unexpected corner!

Look at what is going on in Chiang Mai at the moment, the place in engulf in smoke and
burned particle in the air and visibility is reduced to almost the front of your nose,
this is NOT conducive to a country that expecting 25 million tourists that many of them
will want to travel to the north,
The rest of the country is more or less ok, you can't expect perfection with such large
country with this huge tourists intake....
It's just 1 or 2 months of smog for sure the tourists will be back.. they do that every year.
Besides that, the Chinese tourists, a large group of CM tourists don't care at all, for them this is moderate smog.
-
Good one, so no charter referendum so they can go straight to the elections where nothing to choose is after the new charter is implemented.
-
Museum? ever been in one...? This is anything you want to call it, but no Museum!
-
Wonder how they know that tourism is not affected, I know of a few people that wanted to come here but didn't because of the smog, so another lie, or just ignoring the fact that it's really bad?
-
And for any government head, elected or not, media scrutiny is part of the deal.
Why?
If a government is unelected they have no sympathy for the common people anyway because they ignore their rights.
-
What a strange story some how I do not believe a word...

Why do they see the Chinese visitors as problems?
Unbelievable and stupid, they are the new source of income for a lot of people, let's blame it on Thainess, something we don't understand.

Just a wild guess but could it be because that don't sell enough in KSK?

If unusual wealth is the reason for this shouldn't there be more people getting the same treatment?
