1. Germany is a democracy and therefore unable to launch an attack, only rubber stamp parliaments in autocracies vote to got to war. 2. the EU is a purely economic association with "no", repeat "no", military decision making 3. the NATO is a military alliance which is purely "defensive", repeat "defensive" and needs the vote of every member state for every important decision. Some NATO member states (such as the US and the UK) attacked Iraq but other member states (such as France and Germany) refused to join because it was an "attack" and not a "defense"

Mass tourism has changed many beautiful destinations, I was in Koh Samui in 1989 and 1995, in Bali in 1988 and 2005, in Hanoi in 1982, 1990 and 2010....all changed because of one single reason : traffic jams you really want to avoid. However many years ago a much older friend complained about the traffic jams of Jakarta in 1949...😄 -

It looks as if in the EU the pendulum of history is switching back to the situation of the 1930ies ....it was a Europe of totally indepentent nations (cfr to Brexit in the UK) whereby every nation took care of itself ....In contrast came the period after World War II whereby in Europe first the French and the Germans and then others got the pendulum swinging to cooperation and integration in what is now the EU with a gigantic bureaucry.

I guess you are too young to know what Marxist policies are : I worked in China from 1972 to 1974 (Mao was still in power) and in Vietnam from 1981 to 1984 and what I experienced is really something different than some social-democrat policies of the Dem's.

I pay a monthly subscription and I could receive many Thai TV channels, Sports channels, international TV news channels Herewith I send the TV Guide provided by Truevisions on my old tuner which allowed me to record in advance all kind of programs from various channels : now with the new and small tuner I can only look to live programs ( I live in an apartment building where I can connect to Truevisions only using a small satellite dish)
-
I am only interested in the ability to program the recording of several TV broadcasts which I can watch later at my convenience.
-
Here is a photo of the old tuner to select TV channels (taken from my neighbour) : 45 x 32 x 5 cm The new one is not larger than a wallet and has no USB entries to connect the PVR
-
When True technicians came this morning to check my old tuner of the TV channels they replaced it with a much smaller tuner without a possibility to connect my PVR box. This is for me a serious issue because I seldom look to live TV and in the past I could - with my PVR box - program the recordings a few weeks in advance. Do other Forum members have the same issue and what can be done about this? (I paid 4000 Baht to True for this PVR box)
