  2. i myself just got back onto the WoW bandwagon.

officially quit 3yrs ago pre TBC. Gonna start back again as of today....(yay no life again).

Wow you're going to be in for a shock lol.

    yeah i think so too.

when i quit preTBC i had rank 12 warlock , T3 Rog , T2 priest. All sold before TBC launch lol.

gonna start over again on Thau.

  3. Beggar, there is a known problem with Catalyst control center. You may get an update with Windows update service, but it's better to look on ATI website - there are Windows 7 drivers.

I always have the latest drivers and the latest BIOS. Does not change anything. Just can hope for tomorrow :)

Having the latest Drivers and BIOS , doesn't mean they always work better.

When it comes to drivers and software , you have to get the best drivers which are more suitable or makes ur system stable.

Windows 7 is a very new released OS. And newer P55A mobos and direct11 may cause Windows 7 to be unstable due to driver issues.

So far Windows 7 hasn't caused me to have any problems at all since i use crossfire direct10 graphic cards and the 750SB/790FX chipset board.

Its better for u to stick to Windows XP at the moment until Windows 7 become more mainstream or until they release Windows 7 SP1.

  4. All that talking about contracts and fineprints etc is basically right, when you look at it only from a legal perspective. What IMHO some posters are lacking here is an understanding of customer service and customer protection. The first is a matter of company policy and market demand, the latter a moral matter to protect a person usually less powerful (the consumer) to be exploited by a more powerful 'person' (the company). We obiously share different opinions here (LivinLOS, HDRIDER, momoson).

I also notice that the discussion kind of goes circles since some focus on the legal perspective, and some on the 'customer experience'.

Wheras I tried to make the point that I - as somebody advocating customer service - understand that AIS did nothing wrong from a legal perspective (at least according to Thai law which doesn't care too much about consumer protection), I fail to see some supporters of the 'legal perspective' group respond to my questions. Probably because from a legal point of view they are not relevant.

About the matter of OPs outstanding bills, I would go with what monty said:

That said, AIS is normally eager to waive charges so you stay on with them. A friendly chat should help out there! Do keep us updated on how they handle it!

    welo

The OPs problem is not about "why he got billed for something which he didnt do."

Its about a Iphone User not knowing how the Iphone actually works.

Its the same thing as (a student telling the teacher the dog ate his homework).

It all boils down to the OPs mistake not knowing how to operate the Iphone in a proper way.

Example: If you forget to turn the cars ignition totally off , you drain the battery totally.

Iphone - you dont off everything connected to WiFi/GPRS , you still get or are connected to the internet by any other Application.

    General

    - IW partnering through Steam is what you will see in the future. Matchmaking is not through Steam, but IW.NET is run in conjunction with Steam.

    - GSP's will no longer be renting out servers.

    - No PunkBuster. VAC will be used as an anti cheat.

    - Retail distribution: Pre-orders will get a disk. Or you could order from Steam.

    - DLC may now need to be paid for - not confirmed.

    - Piracy was only a small reason for going to IW.NET - not the whole reason.

    Clans

    - No more clan servers. Private matches, replace clan servers.

    - Listen servers will connect to each other.

    - IW.NET/Steam will replace the community server admin

    Competitive Gaming

    - Competitive gaming has changed forever.

    - It might be possible in the future for IW engineers to load a "competitive" setting on IW.NET, but it is far from a guarantee. It might also never happen.

    Modding

    - Modding the game is now very much in question. Fourzerotwo had no info on modding. However, it appears that there will be no mods or maps for MW2.

    - Modding in SpecOps? Unknown.

  6. This is a problem with new Iphone users.

If you don't explore the phone properly and know how the gprs/wifi works u get screwed over by the gprs usage.

If you google , you can find all the similiar complaints about this by new Iphone users.

Even with GPRS/WiFi turned off other applications can connect the GPRS/WiFi without you knowing to constantly update.
