90 Day Non-Immigrant O financial requirements
ubonjoe replied to killblues's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If applying for a non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai you will only need to show financial proof of at least 20k baht. The validity of the non-o visa is 3 months from the day it is issued. You can use the visa for entry up to the day it expires and get a 90 day permit to stay when you enter the country. -
You need to complete this form I found on the London embassy website. https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/umufy3EgqL/คำขอ.pdf It is in Thai. I think you will need to make a appointment to get consular officer to sign it. Info is here in English for passports but it is not that clear as to what is needed. I does not mention the consent form if you are married. I suggest that your wife contact the nearest passport office about it. List of offices in Thai is here. https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/publicservice/19745-สถานที่ให้บริการหนังสือเดินทาง There may be more info that she can find the website.

Unless the children were born here and there showed they were not Thai nationals the must leave on a Thai passport. They cannot leave on a UK passport without a entry stamp in it unless their birth certificates show both parents are from the UK. They can easily get a Thai passport. But you will need to do a document with your consent will be needed to get the passports. The parental consent can be done at the Thai embassy in the UK. This is the form that can be used. https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/zE6021nSnu/เอกสาร/หนังสือให้ความยินยิม.pdf

1. No 2. You cannot apply for a 30 day extension for any non immigrant visa entry. If your child is Thai you can get a 60 day extension to visit them at immigration.

Who ever you talked to you was wrong. The $100.000 is only for a non-o visa for retirement. Here is the requirements shown on the embassy website. Covid extension rejected
ubonjoe replied to Leon1980's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
None if you read the earlier post he did. He will be leaving on September 5th. If needed he could get 7 days to leave the country after paying for a extension and having his application denied. -
Mu report was received on time but nobody opened it until September about the same time they sent me another one due to them not it not being recorded. Not sure about sending it to that particular room would of helped. I have sent them using the preaddressed envelope serval times without a problem. If your are getting your mail from the SSA without a problem then their should be no reason to have your payments stopped since they send a couple of notices before stopping it.

When did you do that? Recent posts indicate that they send you another password by email now. Never had a problem with the password due to Chrome taking care of it. When I go on the site it completes my email address and password for me. Also the email with the password is in a my starred folder so it is easy to find.

At 6 weeks that should be a standard update. Much longer and it could be a consolidated update that does not always show the correct balance. Not sure how a update could be done on page one unless the bank book is completely empty. If you are using the Bangkok Bank mobile app you can request a bank statement that is sent by email. You would select accounts on the first page and select a account on that page. After selecting it you can can click the 3 dots in the top right corner to request a bank statement.

Do they plan on applying for a tourist visa that allows a 60 day stay that can be extended for 30 days at immigration. Some Thai embassies and official consulates do not require a onward ticket for application. If doing a land border crossing for a 30 day visa exempt entry a ticket out would not be required. By air the airline might want to see a ticket out of the country within 30 days.

Retirement to Work Visa??
ubonjoe replied to afm171's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You cannot change your non-o visa entry to a non-b visa without leaving the country. You could change the reason for your extension of stay from retirement to working for a company. The biggest obstacle is getting a work permit application done to obtain a work permit application approval letter that would be required to do the change. Changing back to a extension based upon retirement would not be a problem. If you are married to a Thai and had a extension based upon marriage you could get the work permit with that type of extension without a problem.- 1 reply

Receipt of Notification
ubonjoe replied to anandra's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You could ask your landlord to do a screenshot of the online report they did. Immigration will accept it as proof the report was done.
