  1. I found it on the Thai embassy website. https://thaiembdc.org/2021/05/13/metv/
  2. Click this at the bottom left corner of a post you want to quote. The + beside it allows you to quote multiple posts.
  3. This is the official website. https://tp.consular.go.th/ Info for Text & Go info is shown on the 2nd page after clicking
  4. A Thali Elite visa is the same as any other visa when entering at a land border. There is nothing that states they cannot be used. Of this time though there are no land border crossing that are open.
  5. They cannot do anything to help Thais since it only a honorary consulate. About all they can do is issue visas and at this time they cannot do that due to covid 19 restrictions.
  6. She could try to do that but not sure it would be accepted. To avoid the trip she might be able to arrange the test with a hotel closer to where she is at. She could do a search here for a SHAplus+ hotel. https://web.thailandsha.com/shaextraplus
  7. The report is to report a staying of over 90 days in the country. It is not a extension of your stay.
  8. Have seen nothing new about them issuing visas. The problem at this time is being able to enter Laos. The land border crossing are still closed. You can fly to Vientiane as part of a tour group.
  9. Most immigration offices do not enforce the 90 day reporting for tourist visa and visa exempt entries. They consider the extensions you have to get to stay longer equal to doing one.
  10. That would ask you and then you would have to pay the 1900 baht fee for it unless you had already paid for the denied extension.
  11. You can apply for a one year extension of stay based upon being married to a Thai at immigration. You will need 400k baht in a Thai Bank in your name only for 2 months on the day you apply. After the extension is approved you can apply for a multiple re-entry to keep the remainder of your extension valid when you enter the country. You can also apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife to get more time to have the money in the bank.
  12. Things have changed since September of 2020 when that topic was posted. The have been doing the 60 day extensions to visit your Thai wife for some time now at Chaeng Wattana.
  13. I am not sure about them accepting a certified copy from a lawyer. The Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA will certify them. See: https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/publicservice/การรับรองเอกสารที่ออกโดยหน่วยงานต่างๆ
  14. What are the copies being used for? Some law offices can notarize them as certified as true and correct for use here in the country.
  15. After entering the country with a new passport that is not required to do a stamp transfer at immigration.
  16. Immigration does not have non-o visa for a family member of a person on a extension based upon retirement on its list for the visas. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=2537 I have read report of people getting a non-o with the help of an agent.
  17. Use Google translate on it. For forms in Thai that is different problem and only the Google translate app is possible by using the camera and it is not that good. If you change the website to English you cannot find the same info on the website that is available in Thai only. Here is screen grab of the info in English (translated forms Thai) from the embassy website.
  18. I cannot understand why your newsletters stopped since you are the only posting about not getting them at this time. I am getting mine twice a day everyday. Are you sure you didn't accidentally click this at the bottom the newsletter.
  19. I assume that was a 90 day extension of stay for medical treatment. You can still apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension since that extension did not change your visa exempt entry.;
  20. I suggest you read my posts. Entering on her US passport will only create more problems than it is worth. She would get a 30 day visa exempt entry and then to stay longer she would have to apply for a one year extension as a returning Thai national. When Thai's enter with foreign passport they have to meet all the immigration requirements. I think his problem is resolved since she can get a emergency travel document by mail that will allow her to enter as a Thai.
  21. I know it has to be done by mail. I read the page on the embassy website I posted a link to. It is a official Thai consulate in LA the only embassy is in Washington DC.
