  1. Correct If you had a year of transfers of 65k baht or more from abroad you could apply for the extension of stay during the last 30 days of the 90 days the non-o visa allows. It would be best to leave the 800k baht in the bank as fallback it there was a problem with doing the income option.
  2. If only showing minor symptoms it is possible to stay in a hotel for a self quarantine. There is a lot of false and misleading info going around about it.
  3. That would mean leaving the country to get a new visa entry. Read my post about another possible option.
  4. You might be able to change schools by canceling your current extension of stay (it is not a visa) for attending a school and then apply for a new extension of stay with supporting documents from another school.
  5. Yes if leaving the country. From Thailand Pass site for test and go. Source: https://tp.consular.go.th/en/plan
  6. Your permit to stay is important not the day your visa expires. I assume that is March 7th. There is no 7 day extension. It is 7 day to leave the country after the 1900 baht fee is paid and the application is denied. The 800k baht must be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply for the extension.
  7. 1. It has to be legalized in the UK and by the Thai embassy in London. Procedure is in this file from the UK embassy, https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/714089/Legalisation_info_June_2018.pdf The next step after arriving here is to have your marriage certificate translated to Thai and then the translation certified by the Department of Consular Affairs' of the MFA in Bangkok. Then you will have to register your foreign marriage at a Amphoe to get a Kor Ror 22 marriage registry that is required by immigration to apply a extension of stay based upon marriage. Best to contact the Amphoe about what their requirements are. 2. You will need 400k baht in a Thai bank for 2 months in you name only or proof of a few months of transfers amounting to at least 40k baht from abroad to apply for the one year extension.
  8. You passport is returned after the application is completed. Pay the agent to send it back to you and then send it back to him when the new one can be picked up.
  9. You do them online without leaving the house. Link: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login It is a new site and it works much better than the old one. Register and give it a try. For more info see the pinned topic at top of page 1 of this forum.
  10. The transfers of 65k baht to prove your income is not listed on the requirements to apply for the non-o visa. It only shows proof on income from a embassy or 800k baht in a Thai bank.
  11. There is no longer a 21 day requirement.
  12. That is only for the non-o visa application. For the extension of stay you can do on the last day if you need to. Info is for the extension application is here on the volunteers website. https://piv-phuket.com/long-stay-extensions/marriage-m/
  13. You can apply for a re-entry permit (single 1000 baht) for the 90 day stay you have. You can get it at Phuket immigration or at Suvarnabhumi airport when departing the country. You would be stamped into the country to day your current 90 day permit to stay ends. That will be the day the re-entry permit expires. If you entered the country 3 days before the re-entry permit expires that would be how long you could stay. If you had all the required documents ready that would be enough time to apply for the one year extension. The important thing is that you have the 400k baht in the bank for 2 months.
  14. How long will you be out of the country? You can get a single re-entry permit that will keep the remainder of the 90 days from the non-o visa valid when you enter the country. It is done entirely online and by email. Not need to send your passport or anything else to embassy or consulate. For info see the e visa site. https://thaievisa.go.th/ You can download the user manual shown at the top of the main page.
  15. After applying for a non-o visa based upon marriage why didn't you apply for a one year extension of stay? After getting the extension you could apply for a multiple re-entry permit at immigration. I am not sure what you want to do is possible. Thai visa applications are done online now to the embassy in DC or one of the 3 official consulates dependent upon where you are living. After the application is approved would now get a stickerless visa by email now.
  16. Is it a flight that only stops in BKK for passengers to disembark and then goes to CNX. You need to confirm with Thai Smile that is is a classified as a international flight all the way to CNX.
  17. Nothing new. It is the same site that has been discussed in this topic since December.
  18. Extending your work permit at the Department of Employment has nothing to do with 90 day reporting that is done by immigration. I assume you also applied for new extension of stay at immigration. A extension of stay application has nothing to with 90 day reporting unless it is your first application for one. You report is due 90 days from the day you entered the country.
  19. The proof of 800k baht being transferred from abroad will not be required if has been in the bank for a long time (2 months or more).
  20. You cannot change to a STV while in the country. The 60 day corvid 19 extensions are possible now until March 25th. After that day it unknown at this time,
  21. How many days are you short for the 2 months are you from the date your allowed stay ends? Many immigration offices would allow to apply late after you pay the 500 baht a day overstay fine. I have heard of it being done 15 days late.
