Not at this time. In reality a Thai ID card is not enough to travel to Thailand even in normal cases. At the least a expired passport would be needed.

Since you will have a re-entry permit a return or onward ticket is not required. -

I think we need to wait for the final version of what is required and TAT may not always be the best source of info. I am sure they will not open the test and go for everybody. -
Sydney can accept a application for a 10 year passport as well. It could be they have failed to mention it on their website. That is not always the case. At this time it is done due to covid 19 since a they need a valid passport or travel document now to travel to Thailand.

That is to apply for the non-o visa. If you enter visa exempt you can apply for a 30 day extension at immigration to get more time to do it. Many offices will do the 30 day extension and visa application during the same trip to immigration.

Test and go will not be back until around February 1st. There will still be a list of countries. Probably the same ones as as shown on Thailand Pass website now. -
Getting marriage visa and work in Thailand
ubonjoe replied to foodyfoodie's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
She does not need to be with you for the legalization. Some embassies and consulates will do them by mail. -
There is no such requirement or rule.

Getting marriage visa and work in Thailand
ubonjoe replied to foodyfoodie's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The first thing you need to do is have your marriage certificate legalized by the authority in Macao that issued it and then have it legalized by the consulate in Hong Kong. You should be able to apply for a single entry non-o visa in Hong Kong using your marriage certificate from Macao that will allow a 90 stay here. I suggest you check with consulate in Hong Kong to confirm that Macao is within their area of responsibility. Contact info: https://hongkong.thaiembassy.org/en/page/location?menu=60541fa73c277e6988688b02 After arriving here you will need to have your marriage certificate translated to Thai and have it certified by Department of Consular Affairs Department of the MFA in Bangkok. Then after that you could register your foreign marriage at a Amphoe to get a Kor Ror 22 marriage registry that immigration requires to apply for a one year extension of stay based upon Marriage. -

You will need $50,000 US of insurance coverage for covid 19 to enter the country. You will asso need to apply for a Thailand Pass. See: https://tp.consular.go.th/ -

I got my info from the Department of Consular Affairs website. https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/publicservice/ค่าธรรมเนียมระยะเวลาการผลิตและจัดส่ง

I assumed she was stating the cost here. Not sure she would know what it would be in Australia since she is apparently here. I looked on both websites in Australia and could not find the cost for a Thai passport. The US embassy has this that is close to the same as here. "General passport valid for 5 years , $37.00 fee. General Passport, valid for 10 years , USD 55.00 fee."
