You could only apply for a multiple entry non-o visa that allows unlimited 90 day entries for one year from the day it is issued. Not aware of the flights that are direct to a nearby country. You could fly to Ho Chi Minh City or possibley Penang to apply for the visa. You could also fly domestic to Nakhon Phanom or Ubon Ratchaithani and travel by land to Mukdahan to cross over to Savannakhet.

She applied for and was issued a non-o visa that allows a 90 day stay in the country when she used it to enter the country. She has been extending that 90 day stay at immigration for 90 days at a time. 1. What day did you enter the country with the non-o visa. She can get a extension that will only be valid to that day. 2. She would not be able to apply for another non-o visa at immigration. They can only be applied for if on a tourist visa or a visa exempt entry. She could apply for a non-o visa at a nearby embassy or consulate with supporting documents from the organization.

I assume she is getting 90 day extensions based upon volunteer work. If she is only getting 90 day extensions she can only do the them for one year and then after that she would need a new non-o visa. This from the immigration order for extensions of stay. (1) Each permission shall be granted for no more than one year. (2) In the case where there is no certification made by any government agency under Criteria (3) hereof, each permission shall be granted for no more than 90 days of stay, the total period of stay shall not exceed one year from the date of entering the Kingdom.

ubonjoe replied to Captor's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The first 2 are the standard TM7 form. If already have one completed you could use it. The others are new standard forms needed for the extension application. The affidavit can be completed by your wife in Thai since both of you have to sign it. They may complete anther one and print it out after the interview by the officer. -
