on kampangdin road between thapae and loi kro about half way on the west side of the road is a mom and pop garden restaurant where i eat sometimes under the mango tree( lunch only) ,i think the house number is 14/2 or 15/2 and the little sign says padulsit

the wife there does the cooking and the husband the dishes but he has a covered pickup and drives people and stuff the last time i used him for 1000 a day.he is very nice and the pickup in good and clean shape. the foor is good and cheap too.

not sure if it's the same but i have a true inter sim card,i paid 50bt ,and call many European countries or the us for 1 bt/min! quality is not always the best but the price is right. calls in thailand i think are 1.5 bt/min .

according to the wife there is nothing in thailand where a 20 bt tip is not sufficient ,of course that is the normal thailand. if you're talking rich and influential i am sure it is a different story. i tip 50 bt for a nice massage .

people here make it too complicated-

the airline ticket has to match the passport name-she will enter thailand on her thai passport.

she has to take the greencard along to board the plane on the way back in lieu of a visa and to enter the united states.

theoretically you do not even need the passport for that just the greencard but they like to look at it any way , the us customs that is.

i bought a thing like that that is just big enough to hold the passport and the money and you wear it under your shirt/pants but with a nylon strap and buckle at lotus near jj market down stairs where they have individual vendors .all the valuables go there during travel and nobody can see it or get to it easily.

get a true inter sim card at the phone dealers. it is 50 bt for the sim card and after that between 1 and 3 bt per minute to most western countries even for mobile. if you dial 00600 first it is only 1 bt per minute.i have used i a lot and it works fine.you can also get calls of course and call in thailand.

when you buy the sim card ask the dealer to activate it for you and put some money on it .to check the balance free call #123#

i would like to disagree with a lot of the above.i think the girls that are able to find real paying customers are actually getting off on the power they have over men that will subsequently throw money at them.

it is a true role reversal and they feel the power surge when you "come" they go but not without your dough.in any other playing field most of these girls are just the ones at the low end of the social ladder.the more money they extract from you the better they feel. just like consumerism has substituted quality life experience so has money substituted class.

i had a well put in about 15 m deep two years ago and recall paying 1500.- bt

there was no drilling they just used a water pump on a pickup to make the hole.i had to pay when they showed me that they pumped clean water from the hole. the 15 m pvc pipe was included in the price.it took about two hrs on the outside,sorry- i lost the phonenr....

i came here because i met a charming woman who was single and who i wanted to to be with. it has been 8 years and everyday is a gift .we have a lot of fun ,humour is a big part of happiness,we built a house together the way we like it and work only a very light load as we have put our forces together.we try to enjoy every day,my wife still has her business and she never asks me for money,but of course i give her presents and treat her when i see fit. if it makes you happy do it -is something she will say to me. and mean it too.i was married several times before and and this relationship is the easiest by far.actually i will say now if it is hard you don't have the right partner. if it is a sacrifice-loose out no more -stop whining and go on back home to the bliss you came from. and the culture of course.the cultural sacrifices ,200 satelite tv stations. starbucks , dunkin donuts.

we have free classical concerts just about every week,several off bw and a few regular movie venues great bookstores etc in chiang mai where i live.and i bet my ass thet most of the whiners here never get theirs off the couch.there are countries around to see and history to study,people and culture galore to experience -give me a break.

no it isn't.as i tried to relate the ozone(o3) is rather short lived and turns into o2. oxygen. basically.

you always worry about your luggage no matter where you travel especially airports and train-bus stations and not just about thai people.just a small lock connecting the zipper is a big advantage especially when you check the bag or in your hotel room. always be safe -never be sorry. thailand is however a lot safer than most places i know.

ozone only kills bacteria and such , it is three oxygen atoms loosely connected and likes to give up one of them and form o 2, regular oxygen which is more stable.the single oxygen atom attaches itself to organic matter and often kills the organism. just like hydrogen peroxide which is used to disinfect for that matter. what you want is water without impurities which is the result of reverse osmosis or distilling. a lot of the machines by the side of the road make that and sell it for a bt/litre i think.

and yes, ozone while short lived is toxic to many life forms despite its uv protecting role in the upper atmosphere.
