Maybe these are the ones who failed the test to be cleaners? I've only been to Jomtien beach once for New Year 2016/17. I don't know where this part of the beach is but we stayed at the Royal Heritage Pavilion. We did walk along the beach a little but it seemed then that there wasn't much left to walk on, just a small strip before the sea. It just looked as if the balance wasn't really right but then maybe that's just me. My wife seemed to be of the same opinion. You need street traders and they need to work but without some regulation you're going to have problems. The trouble is regulations are a difficult issue here on both sides of their enforcement. I have to say that beach looks good though especially for a boring old fart like me.

The 15th seems to be what's called a public holiday holiday on this site. https://www.officeholidays.com/countries/thailand/2022 I think it may be a replacement for holidays that were cancelled due to Covid.

Mine works in part of the Ministry of Labour but she has to work on Labour Day. I think she has a day off for the Royal Ploughing Ceremony though even though she works in an office. As far as I can tell this isn't going to be a holiday. If it is then I've no complaints..

Very true but the intent gives us a lot of other things as well. When I'm back in the UK I use it to call my wife and when I'm here I use it to speak to my mother plus other family members and my granddaughters. When I first started calling my then girlfriend in about 2008 I could barely see her sometimes and if it rained then there was no chance.

You could say the same about dangerous drivers, drunk drivers, speeding drivers ect. I live in rural Isaan so I don't know what it's like in cities but I can't remember ever seeing a really aggressive dog here. Either in a city or not. Maybe it's more to do with the people than the dogs.

They would definitely gain from putting their brain in gear before their mouth. If it were the world's first death from an overdose then I can't see that would be a serious problem outside of the person who died and their friends and relatives. There's certainly a need to be careful if you have medical issues. Virtually anything can kill you in excess. Even water.
