My cousin in law ? died from covid two days a go. Two days in hospital then dead. Delta. Not vaccinated then Sinovac wouldn’t have helped much. Cremated the same day he died. No time for family and friends to say goodbye. Very sad.

I have a 4th generation 12.9" iPad Pro. Including the case it is way too heavy to carry around. I hardly have used it. I have a generic pencil (not the one you have) and it seems to work okay. I wish I had gone to a place selling Apple products to be able to feel the weight before I purchased it online. I continue to use my normal size iPad daily even though it is several years old.

Don't use your foreign card. As you found out the fees are horrendous. Both your bank in Canada and the bank here will charge 'fees'. If you are here for some time it is better to use Wise. Download from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play. You will need to open a local bank account. The exchange rate and the fees charged are far better than any bank and I usually get my money within 24 hours. There is also a comparison of what banks charge for the same amount of transfer. One tip if you want to use Wise is make the transfer early in the day and not on Friday to Sunday. This for Oz dollars and maybe Canadian dollars are different. True use a lot of numbers to send spam. For several weeks I blocked each number. Just when I thought I won the spam started up again. Now I'm back to deleting at least 3 messages from True each day. In Thai so no use to me.

Jerome my friend, in my case you are wrong in this. I have purchased an iPad Pro (latest model) and an Apple Watch (series 6) within the last 12 months from authorised resellers. Both items came from Apple and with full Apple warranty. In the case of the iPad Pro it came with a 12 month free subscription to Apple TV. I used Banana IT for the purchase of the iPad Pro, can't remember who I purchased the watch from. Yet they were both authorised resellers.

We are in a dark red zone. Our local HomePro was fully open until a week ago. You could walk in and shop for whatever you wanted. Then suddenly the store was closed, only online ordered pickups were allowed. The thing here is that 'staff' numbers always out numbered customers. I just don't get why you can buy groceries and not buy hardware. Of course Lazada and stores with online shopping overcome a lot of this. Still I like to see major electrical items in the flesh side by side with similar items.

Many years ago I was involved in a clinical trial for Imigran, a migraine medication that didn't use opioids. It was administered by injection. Worked a treat. Then along came the same dose in a nasal spray and it worked just as well and was way more convenient. If this can be pulled off provided the cold chain could be solved it would be a game changer.

The only way true unemployment figures will be determined is if a fair unemployment status is introduced and benefits are paid to people who meet the criteria. My guess is that at least 30% of people, maybe a lot more who are in that cohort would be classed as unemployed. The 2% figure is a joke and everyone knows it.
