  1. the detected lol pretty much 80% of people operating a motor vehicle after 12 in the morning are DUI, and that is 365 days a year - the fact that they actually do something about it during holiday periods is a joke, drink driving kills people ........ seemingly more people in Thailand than anywhere else in the world...................yes, Thailand you actually have a genuine HUB you can claim........ deaths on your roads due to drinking, yes the deaths go up slightly during holiday periods, but why ? because you are actually trying to do something - drink driving is a huge problem - not just thais - everyone, the joke about it is that tourists from the west wouldn'tdare do it in their home countries and yet .............. why is this happening ? - simple, because those tasked with enforcement both in goverment and on the ground are some of the biggest perpetrators, they ignore the fact that 1000's are being killed on the roads because of drunk driving
  2. I doubt very much that the booking site was at fault at some point the hotel should have realised they only had 80 rooms and not 180, I will write this one off as willful incompetence - see if they refund
  3. they are missing the obvious ####THE ROADS#### by far the biggest killer in Thailand everything mentioned above doesn't come close
  4. this needs to be enforced 365 days a year
  5. I went diving off pataya about 17 years ago, one thing that surprised me was the lack of tropical fish and the state of the coral............it was depressing, not what I expected
  6. saw them all tonight on soi buakeow so someone is telling porkies
  7. this like saying drink driving other times is ok, no wonder they have the most dangerous roads in the world drink driving is illegal and people are being killed 365 days a year
  8. go to Cambodia instead ..................gets a thumbs up from me
  9. is this not a normal thing any country would do ? I am pretty sure if I transfered a large amount of money to to the UK they would want to know were it came from.................this is just lip service.................
  10. I understand what they are saying but it is not the way to go about it, what I would do is set a date were notes expire - anyone trying to exchange money large amounts of money needs to explain were they got it, i am pretty sure there is a huge amount of cash that people are holding that they cannot explain were it came from but you don't preannounce you are doing it..........this will never happen because of landscaping - too many gardens dug up with dirty money, but I must admit it would be very interesting to see - pretty much 70% of thais deal in cash - they don't pay tax they even put it in bank accounts - who is checking where the money comes from ? it could be checked but isn't, next they say they are going to tax foreign income when they can't even tax their own citizens
  11. by giving so muchnotice to this plan it's an automatic failure
  12. or more interested in his phone than driving the bus
  13. although the OP mentions the US$ you don't base a currency against another currency to determine movement you base it on several "major" currencies to determine it's movement and the baht has been strengthening for a long time against all major currencies - BOT admits this is the case
  14. totally agree, something just stinks............what are they hiding Like I said said before - an easy and reasonably safe way to drop the baht is to print money, whatever the reason they seem reluctant to do, the influence is a powerful one
  15. "best performing" like it is some kind of regonal challenge they have won, seems more like the continue to shoot themselves in the foot, sitting on their hands won't improve things, this quite frankly sounds like manipulation, still can't figure out who benefits except those wanting to move money out of Thailand, I get the feeling they are hiding something - but what ?
  16. maybe you can lmao my bet is on Trump, give me odds on that.........don't bother
  17. Thailand military is vasty superior to Cambodia - what are they thinking
  18. i don't know who the victims are qudos to thai police for clamping down the disturbing thing is that over and over they think they can operate in Thailand..........if they tried this in china and got caught there would be severe penalties - maybe Thailand needs to do the same what attracts these scamers to Thailand. ? .....................they are fairly confident they can get away with it ? well maybe they can if money - not saying any more....fill in the blanks, big joke talked about it
  19. well since I am replying to you - you're good it took me about 2x posts from you know who to figure out that I had no interest in anything he had to say
  20. on ignore for a very long time - I have little tolerance for fools
