    All too commonplace of the last generation or more, even when most [if not all] supposed offenses have little association with the omni-present and draconian 112 policies. Archaic to say the least. It's become the convenient go to card for those particular circles of the old guard. Not related.....but I'd be curious to know how a "progressive" is defined here. Examples....??

    Yet.....isn't that the way it is everywhere? Ruled by elites. Actually, if one is observant, you'll find that everyday Thais [and lifestyles] really aren't oppressed as it's been imagined to be.

    Those things aren't reasoned, as the establishment-oligarch circles look to secure the survival mode. What has been most apparent for years are the obvious [for some] distractions and misdirection that are part and parcel of Thai political theatre. Same as it ever was.

    Perhaps the rumours that are making their rounds of Thailand firmly associating itself with BRICS are coming to fruition. Will certainly be an advantage than hanging on to the dying Anglophone/EU model.

    Why not promote within. Instigate the ideals of nurturing and encouraging home grown talent. The only catch would be upgrading the educational systems and removing the general restraints that hamper any such progressive development.......and that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Never mind.

    Should be the way - throughout every province and to each their particular civil project situations. Though, I suspect that any of these infrastructural managements have little or no benefit to the provincial populations and their commons.....somewhere amongst the small print and hidden hands the usual circles are profiting. You know how that is - the way in which the world works.

    Indeed. As they appear to be on their way of an official [maybe] dissolution.....probably have nothing to lose, so they continue to question everything that should be challenged. Expect the base of MV to reinvent themselves as they have in the past. They're certainly not going to go away.
