  1. MSM assisting, when they can, the troubled and struggling elitist circles [and their long held strategies] with irreverent and trivial matters.
  2. An invented pandemic, therefore an invented post-pandemic economy.
  3. What a nasty and disconnected species that we are......and in particular a specific sub-group of our kind. Not to worry - nature's working on it as we speak.
  4. Still....most don't have the aptitude to really understand what's going on. Same as it ever was.
  5. Remember the good old days before the advent of everything about one's existence within the proverbial mobile gadget. Dumbed down comes to mind.
  6. Those pesky Progressive troublemakers.... 😉
  7. Oh dear. We just can't let it go.
  8. .....and we have easily forgotten that the greater percentage of this current and standing crop were not elected, but appointed by proxy. We have seemed to have dismissed the bigger picture. Why bother with elections when they continue to practice their usual skullduggery of banning individuals and political parties from participating - remembering that all of these underhanded and nefarious activities have approval and blessing from particular circles. The crux that no one wants to address.
  9. Which would almost be impossible, in this scenario, without dissolving the ruling monarchical system - as the whole of this particular parliamentary democratic practice is highly dependent on the whims of the singular ruling classes......which of course contradicts and collides with anything that proposes to be free, open and democratic. Perhaps, the wish to not overthrow the monarchy per se, but to engage a figurehead approach without this class involved in the everyday practice and mechanics of the state. This should be acceptable by the people. The ideals of a Constitutional Monarchy is basically antithetical to any free practice of democracy.
  10. Sadly, these reform ideals have been half-heartedly attempted throughout the decades with little success. 1-2 percent of the collective doesn't bend anything. But, if there was a true universal and organised bonding of the population - that might be a tipping point. Maybe. Long general strikes might get their attention and weaken their hold some. Yet, trimming the selective branches does to resolve the problem[s] - the base decay is still there. Severing and removing the roots and tradition might be a difficult choice for some.
  11. Foxes watching the hen houses comes to mind.
  12. The revolution is near......or certainly should be. In a perfect world. Haven't the people had enough of these shenanigans? Where are all the strong and influential activists at this time?
  13. There are numerous options to partake from.....especially these with all of the systematic and institutional control. Most have become comfortable [and dumbed down] with the distracting and misdirected dominant paradigm. Never questioning. Never challenging. Even reasoned and supposedly intelligent folk don't know the difference nor realized they're being duped.
  14. Bit of a shame. For a comparative option and truer translations, one can always rely on http://www.thai-language.com/
  15. The third renewal for this group. With each generation, splinter [revised] groups are weakened and less significant than their predecessors.......with more and more writs and mandates forced upon them. Instead of the same old rhetorical cycles and discourse that appear to be mundane, why not spark a truer rebellion within the Thai political machine. Stop playing their game. Societal uprisings have been known to occur.
  16. Shocked, I am!!! That's never happened. 😉
  17. The strategy from the start. .....and seems to still be working for them, regardless of surface and faux democratic systems. Actually, these underlying practices were in place long long long before Prayuth. History is usually hidden.
  18. Opposition political identities? Really? Where might these be found?
  19. Somewhere amongst this delusion the "crux" is being missed. The deep oligarchy/establishment still rules the roost. ......things [and the corrupted systems/mindsets] will always remain the same unless the people demand otherwise. The revolution will not be televised.
  20. Odd, really. It appears that too many individuals have the same consistent issues, of varying degrees, with any and all online shopping systems......yet, will continue to do business with the same homogenous groups. The learning curve seems to be a bit edgy. What's that old saying about doing something over and over again and expecting results. Mindless consumption and want is almost impossible to get over once it's set in stone.
  21. Tradition. It is what it is. Yet, clarion trumpeters have sung the songs of revolutionary for ages, yet things remain the same, steadfast. Why is this? Today, we enjoy [and quite available to all] a great array of independent and alternative sources, yet somewhere in the mix the messages are subdued or passively indifferent about promoting change for the better. I believe a truer manner comes about, as Thais know they're not that oppressed and fixed in everyday life........unlike the highly deluded civilised world who prefer to exist through a myopic and controlled lens.
  22. We can always speculate or analysis as to how it should be or what it could be....but as long as tradition has a solid foothold on the social/political order workings, can't see much change in the near or distant future. Oligarchy and plutocracy are the most commonplace practiced the world over [guised in variable and comparable forms].
  23. Governments, historically, by their very nature are based on firm authoritarian rule. No exceptions.
  24. May become? How 'bout......already is. Closing the barn doors after the horses have already fled.
