  1. The only disability recognized in Thailand...is the inability to cough up money on demand...

I suppose in a way this will be the experience of anyone who thinks they can buy everything. As in all walks of life you only get what you pay for.

Did he change your mind, did you just agree with him or did you manage to contradict yourself in two sentences?

  2. Help me out with an analogy.

Someone bragging they can get laid lots in Thailand is the same as...a heroic tosser

However, I don't think that was the Op's intention. I think that he was trying to point out the female's'shallow mentalities and ulterior motives.

  3. They arleady charge a monthly fee of over 100 baht for basic line rental. It's no wonder the telecommunications industry creates fugitives with giant empires.

You think that's expensive? BT in the UK charge about 850 baht.

    I don' think it's expensive - I know it's legal robbery.

What does the UK have to do with the price of fish?

  4. "so many other men are willing to offer her up to 20,000 a day for sex (I've seen the texts)"

From her mates, the oldest trick in the book and you bought it. laugh.png

Ah no.it was guys from internet dating sites. You want to know what they looked like? I saw their profiles..mid 50s, officer manager type of look, actually pretty normal which surprised me as why would they have to offer that kind of money? You could see a guy in a wheelchair or disfigured having to ante in 20K but not a normal looking older guy.

It's a big world out there and attraction has nothing to do with appearance ( physically challenged or disfigured people are not rejected by all, on the contrary )....just check out all the targeted websites

Also some guys ( or women for that matter ) prefer to pay as in a NSA way of life and I don't blaim them. It is better that waking up with a bill on the table for a job one hadn't receive any quotation

Note that, at least at the moment, I do not fit any of the categories cited above

This being said, 30,000 a month for an average of 60 brief encounters is a lot cheaper than what a spouse costs you for a lot less received

Don't forget that there would be a substantial discount for a bulk purchase.

  5. "I know a bloke who had a short arm disability" ----somchaismith

Is that the disability that comes with long pockets?---yes I have also known many ex-pats with this disability . Although usually its known by a different term in Thailand.

Regarding both the ailments, ones a birth defect and the other's brought upon us by fate. The solution which I previously mentioned was for the former. Though it does seem that it could be applied with success in either case.

  6. I know a bloke who had a short arm disability. He compensated for it by teaching himself quite fluent Thai language and went for Thai women with no English skills. When he secured a chick to become his GF (he had a couple in succession), he would not teach them any English, so preventing them from swapping him for a disability free foreigner.

  7. I'm watching it now, first episode. They are intentionally driving 3 trucks down a narrow soi, purposely hitting overhead cables, parked cars and plastic chairs, I assume, to add to the drama?? Is this what normally happens on Top Gear?

You don't really think that reality tv shows are candid, do you?

  8. Wonder where the OP has gotten that BS from.

    Carlsberg is imported (Vietnam) and

Are you sure about that? Carlsberg has returned to Thailand and is distributed by Singha.

I've also heard that it's brewed here, by Singha, too.
