  1. Thanks to @johng and @IsmeUno for noting that Pattaya2U has moved and the new location. Nice to see that they are still in business and in the same neighborhood.
  2. Pattaya 2U is a good shop with decent pricing that’s often recommended here. It’s located behind Tukcom by the parking garage. Google Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sAvPqquDfPrkWjv8A
  3. You are correct! I’ve looked into it a bit more. When arriving from abroad in November 2023, I did my first online report in February 2024, and it was approved. I therefore assumed that was de facto. Recently I arrived with a new passport and even though I knew a 90-day report wouldn’t work online, I still tried. Didn’t really pay attention to why it was denied as I’d already expected that. Looked again at my rejection email and as you pointed out, there it states clearly: “For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.” Not sure if they’ve changed the rules once again, or if I was just lucky back in 2024.
  4. I was there last week and impressed how fast it was doing my 90-day report. It’s been 5 years since I’ve done one in person previously, and back then it was quite slow as you mention. Made passport copies to the left, where you pick up tickets for all other counters. Walked over to the right where one girl check my documents and gave me a queue number. Sat down, my number was called within 10 minutes, walked up to the desk and received my 90-day slip. All in all, I was there for about 20 minutes. BTW, you don’t have to do your first 90-day report in person, it’s only required when you have a new passport.
  5. It’s at the deli counter. However, as I mentioned earlier it’s been a while since I bought some. Really hope they haven’t discontinued their potato salad.
  6. Foodland has very good potato salad, the one I buy there has hard boiled eggs in it. It's been a while now since I bought any but think they do have one without eggs as well if that’s not to your liking.
  7. Thank you very much! I’ll go mid next week then.
  8. What about Jomtien? I’ve heard that they tell you to come back at a later date if you try to apply too early. My permission to stay ends on the 15th this month. When would be the earliest I can apply for a 30-day extension there?
  9. I would recommend Thai Pet Care, it’s about ½ hour drive north of Jomtien. Here is a link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/YZC4BEhPyXTvEmhF7

Been trying a few different vets over the years. Our to go place for the last 7 years or so is Pattaya Community Pet Hospital on Nernplubwan. They are open 24 hours, great caring vets. https://maps.app.goo.gl/FwshhgfG7bx8iU6K7

There are also a few parking spots right underneath the bank. The few times I’ve gone there by car I’ve been lucky to get a spot there.
  12. Looks like you can still do it. Here is your random one: Flightaware EDIT: LOL, that didn't work just like you said...
  13. After reading here that they are closing down we visited Texas Chicken this evening, Jomtien. Never seen so many people there before, this location is usually quite empty with fast order service. Today it took us over 30 minutes to order and get our food. Looks like the news are spreading that they’ll soon be gone.
  14. Paid 150B about a year ago at Chanya Medical Clinic Jomtien. Conveniently close to immigration as well, if needing a residence certificate.
  15. Yes, 1 original and 1 copy is accepted. This goes for both the medical certificate and the residence certificate.
  16. I think you were just unlucky with your MK345. I also have two small Logitech K400+ that I use for TVs and they have been working great for years. Good luck with your ROBOT keyboard, that was a nice price.
  17. I’d say it’s a well known fact to most that used Thailand Pass to enter during the covid restrictions. Here is one link: Thai Enquirer
  18. I'm very happy with my Logitech MK295 "Silent Touch" keyboard, which sounds like a requirement for you. It’s full size with a Num Pad. Used daily, bought in Dec21, and still works flawlessly. It came packaged with a small wireless mouse, I prefer those as opposed to the standard size as they hurt my wrist after prolonged use. Less than B900 for the combo on Lazada back then.
