  1. I wonder how many other of Trumps boot lickers were on the alleged assassins hit list.
  2. May I add, I don't know how many marriages you've had in your lifetime, in my case my current wife is my first ever marriage.
  3. That's a ridiculous suggestion, are you married to a Thai? If so you must realise the restrictions placed on us farangs by the Thai government. When we own property they virtually have us by the balls. If I were to bail out I would lose everything that's why I'm still living here.
  4. If the People Party win with with a sweeping majority everyone should shut up and let them do what they are trying to achieve. If they fail there's always the election after to get rid of them in a democratic way. Give them chance, I hope I'm wrong but I very much doubt it.
  5. My patriotic Thai wife assured me that Thailand would never release propaganda. She has these sort of brain farts every week but I really admire her as she always strives for a personal best.
  6. There is 2 sure things in the coming election. The Peoples Party will have a huge win but it won't long as they will be given their marching orders again. Will we have another coup?
  7. I remember the World Futsal Championship several years ago. They built a new stadium not far from my house in Nong Chok Bangkok. I used to drive past there everyday and there was no way it was going to be ready for the start of the Championship. The standing joke amongst Thais was it was ok if you take your own plastic chair, food and refreshments. A few months on it became a weekend market, a rather expensive one at that.
  8. Thanks for that info, it's worth a try.
  9. I get CBA net codes sent to me in Thailand and I have their app which works fine. They have a term deposit which is 3.55% at the moment. That said I contacted ME Bank today to re invest part of the maturity money owing to me. I was told that the rules have changed you have the choice. Re invest the total amount for no more than 6 months or re invest the main amount and send the interest to your access account. Given I don't have an Aussie phone number I withdrew the lump sump and it should be in my CBA account by December 16, I will then invest in the CBA term deposit as mentioned above. The problem with most term deposits you must be an Aussie resident to qualify, hence now you need an Aussie phone number to install the banks app and make transactions.
  10. Can you please be more specific about the amount of baking soda you're referring to.
  11. What do you consider a small amount?
  12. Rinse out your mouth after drinking ACV as it can interfere with the enamel on your teeth.
  13. When you were treating yourself for acid reflux what foods did you cut out and what was your alcohol intake if any?
  14. Cancelling my Krungsri Bank app because I'm over 70 yo was a real winner. Probably the instigator of this initiative got and instant promotion.
  15. They sell ranitidine at the pharmacy I go to in Bangkok. At the moment I'm taking omeprazole 20 mg morning and night, so far there hasn't been any change in my condition.
  16. Has any one ever been successful in treating acid reflux with Omeprazole? If so what dosage did you use?
  17. Firstly thank you for your reply. The CBA rate is 4.45% but that's with an introductory bonus but that only lasts for 5 months, then it reverts to 1.55%. CBA does have a term deposit account which is 3.05% for 6 months. I'm in a situation as I'm now 80 yo I don't get the Aust Pension because I lived in Thailand well before my 65th birthday. So now I'm living off my own money and decent interest rates are important for me.
  18. Hi there, I just received an email from ME Bank in Australia, it stated that customers will now need the ME Bank app for any transactions in the future. I will now need an Australian phone number for SMS messages which I haven't got. Does anyone know of any term deposits in Australia where an AU phone number is not required. I have one AU bank account with Commbank but there saver plan is only 1.55% whereas I was getting 4,40% from ME Bank. Thanks.
  19. Does that mean that Mrs Trump will get her marching orders too? I suppose her dearly beloved husband will grant her political immunity.
  20. Did you read everything I said, obviously not. I stressed that being married I would lose to much. Is that clear enough? I was referring to single guys who have nothing to lose, there is a huge difference,
  21. The left, have another try you moron. I'm fortunate enough to not be an American,
  22. Take this advice from a guy who's been married to a Thai woman for the past 25 years. I say cut your losses and move on. My relationship has been rocky at times, I was ready to move on 15 years ago but when I cooled down I realized I would lose to much. For a single guy move on and cut all contacts even if it means changing your phone number and where you stay in Thailand.
  23. It will be interesting to see if these MAGA Trump ass lickers do get jail time. Will the jail they go to hold a lottery and the loser has to share a cell with Hesgeth or one of the other MAGA goons. Rest assured the greatest president ever will be the first to jump over board when the MAGA ship is sinking. I not against the Republicans, it's just the weirdos who have muscled in and thrown the Republican Party into total disarray.
