  1. How long will it be before some writes on the walls " THERES NO USE STANDING ON THE SEAT CAUSE THE CRABS IN HERE CAN JUMP 6 FEET "
  2. My brother in law went through this and the family persuaded him to join the monk hood. Four years on he's going well as several monks his age have become his friends. So it was a win for every one.
  3. Why tourist rent motor bikes baffles me. Take Pattaya for instance where motor bikes are out of control. If a tourist needs a motor bike to go to his favorite boozer on a daily basis then he needs to change where he lives. I live just off Naklua Road and I go to Pattaya Tai for a drink several times a week. It's 10 baht in a baht bus and a few minutes walk. I've been doing this for 25 years and I'm not always sober but I"m still alive.
  4. In Thailand instant happiness comes with the mention of money.
  5. Off topic but gold was 7,000 baht when I first my Thai wife.
  6. She's probably had more pricks than a 2nd hand dart board.
  7. As I own micro shares in racehorses in Australia I like to have a bet when they run. So I always make sure that I open my VPN for Australia before I place any bets online in Thailand.
  8. Hi there, I've been living off Australian term deposits for many years now. When the term deposit matures I transfer money from ME Bank to my CBA account. I then transfer money in the CBA to Kasikorn Bank in Thailand using Wise, that's worked fine for years. Now when I try to transfer funds from the CBA I get a message that states " Reversal Transfer "so the transaction is cancelled. Even though I have sufficient funds for this transfer but the CBA won't allow it.
  9. All religions especially Catholic are total crap.
  10. Yesterday I moved back to my house in outer Bangkok East. I still own my condo in Pattaya but I'll only be using it for extended holidays in the future. So today I went to my local pharmacy for an antibiotic which was nearly 100% cheaper than the cheapest in Pattaya. Even my BP meds are cheaper, the cheapest is Fascino Pattaya at 640 baht. At the pharmacy here I pay 320 baht for the same medication and same brand name. Is it any wonder there are so many pharmacies in Pattaya, Is it a scam treating every expat like a tourtist. There a couple of small bars here that charge 70 baht for a large beer and the peace at night is shattering, no f****n racing motor bikes.
  11. Trump is doing great things at home, please tell me more.
  12. The gains for the Government are total crap. Ask yourself the question, how many of these business's set up for Songkran pay tax. The answer is none.
  13. Ukraine wouldn't be the first country that the USA has abandoned. Try Laos and Vietnam for starters.
  14. The dogs you adopt does that include pit bulls?
  15. Because whilst they may have a nasty bite they are not blatant killers.
  16. Utter crap. Pit Bulls are a mixed breed and they are bred for one reason only they are killers. I've seen a few in a action, a friend of mine had one and after 3-4 years living with a German Shepherd dog it ripped it guts out and nearly tore the face off his elderly mother. He made the right decision and went upstairs and got his shot gun and blew it's head off. As I've said repeatedly it's up to the Thai Government to ban them and if laws are ignored there are large fines and the dog euthanised.
  17. It should've been euthanised when it entered the pet shelter. It's about time the Government banned pit bulls and made it a serious offense to own one.
  18. Enough said. The a**e wipe is probably getting advice from Mr Red Bulls son.
  19. The dirt bag is probably getting advice from Mr Red Bulls son, an expert on such matters.
  20. Seriously WTF did she do to receive that accolade. It just shows us that listen to daddy because father knows best.
  21. His only answer when questioned by the BIB's was " take me drunk I'm home".
  22. Thais just can't stop showing off. The vegetable vender maybe a victim of a serious crime even murdered. Let's hope not and I wish him well for the future. I was always taught to keep my cards close to my chest.
  23. I met my wife to be 25 years and we're still together and I have no intentions of going back to Melbourne Australia. The only thing i miss is going to the AFL every week.
  24. I am very well stocked up too but I really need sour dough bread as I'm an allergy sufferer.
