  1. Machines manufactured, programmed, and no doubt to be maintained by Loxley, subsidiary of K-Bank.

    :)

Mr. Vasant Chatikavanij, Executive Vice President of Loxley and Director of a couple of Loxley sub branches click.

Mr. Vasant is a cousin of Abhisits Oxford Collage classmate Korn Chatikavanij.

But isn't Korn Chatikavani, the current Finance Minister? Abuse of power?

    Yes if it is Thaksin.

No if there have PAD backings.

  2. Banned from politics,

what part about not getting involved does the Election Commission not understand.

    If a banned politician,

    ANY banned politician ;

Makes a call benefiting a candidate.

Shows up at a rally and speaks.

Makes a video link call to a rally

and talks for the benfifit of a candidate.

Is pictured on a poster or leaflet.

    Is quoted in campaign literature.

Gives money or makes promises for a candidates benefit.

Any and all of these should be grounds for annulling a win, or disqualifying a candidate,

for allowing using this banned pol as icon or helper in his campaign.

    Banned is banned.

IF, these banned pols do this with the knowledge of the party leaders

    examples:

Chalerm saying Thaksin is the real leader of PTP,

We are doing this to bring back Thaksin etc.

Then this is the party using a banned pols legend to get votes

and this is against the rules also.

Banned, should apply to parties using the banned as bait for voters,

not just that these people can not run for office.

    The sentence they have is

"Banned From Politics For Five Years."

What exactly does the Election Commission think this means in definition.

PS I certainly think the pertains to Newin also et al.

So, if the Chart Thai Pattana Party candidate wins, you would disqualify her as "Her son, Siripong Angkasakulkiat, a former Sisaket MP from the defunct Chart Thai Party, who has been banned from politics for five years, is also lending support", as per SJ's post from the Bangkok Post.

Somehow I think your call for overturning the votes of the electorate would only be applied by you if the Pheu Thai Party candidate were to win!

    I agree with you 200%.

  3. Do you really believe that people will come only in thailand because they can have a free visa ?

what is the financial impact of such a measure for the holiday budget :D

What next ? They will give candy at the immigration :)

    Yes.

For example, I paid 1,400 Baht all in BKK-SIN-BKK on AirAsia for this October. This is less than half the visa fee for many countries. Multipy by a family of 5, now you you see why I don't go to countries that needs a visa.

  4. Why invest in new lotto vending machine.

They could easily use currently available:

    1. ATM - Bank ATM machine, that also take money straight from buyer account

    2. CDM - Bank Cash deposit machine, i.e. you don't even need a bank account.

Theses machines are all Thailand. Even my 6 years old can use it.

  5. Been checking Air Asia Plus for flight costs to Bali.

Some dates are showing a "0" price. But when looking on the actual AirAsia website the price is fluctuating wildy.

There is some sort of "Big Promotion" starting today so I don't know what's going on??? :)

    RAZZ

AirAsia has decided to remove the admin fee, with is about 200 Baht/sector. AirAsia website is having some technical problem adapting the changes. Give it a day or two.

  6. I didn't say this. Forbes did:

"After taking power, Abhisit was criticised as an opportunist who would have gone nowhere without a helping hand from the military and the anti-Thaksin People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD). He failed to condemn the PAD when it occupied Bangkok's two main airports in late November. Since then, Abhisit has vowed to prosecute those responsible for the airport closures, but nobody has been charged so far."

  7. Yes, I feel like I belong to an elite that is above democracy, that my decision should not be contested by the "uneducated". Be honest, accept it. But please, the "uneducated" should stop talking about democracy or first make the effort to understand the meaning of the word.

Democracy : one person = one vote

    Your definition ?

    My definition,

    Democracy : 70% selected, 30% elected

This is the world's true democracy.

  8. Quite amazed at the at the sheer hatred and viciousness of the anti-Thaksin brigade here!

Nothing amazing about people hating a convicted criminal who flees like a coward, refuses to accept punishment handed down by the Thai courts and who continues to stir up trouble in the country - all in the interests of saving his own precious scrawny arse.

What is amazing however, is that there are people like you who continue to speak in his defence (although you'll no doubt deny that) and mention his name in the same breath as the word democracy.

Punishment handed by a military appointed court following a military coup.

Since then the people have repeatedly voted for politicians supporting Thaksin, only to see their choice overturned by a court appointed by the coup makers.

Let's make it clear. You feel like you belong to an elite that is above democracy, that your decision should not be contested by the "uneducated". Be honest, accept it. But please stop talking about democracy or first make the effort to understand the meaning of the word.
