    Not sure this is correct.

International terminal at HKT closed for ages, just re-opened 3 April.

There was one single promotional flight BKK-HKT back in January.

QR's summer schedule to be uploaded today. or tomorrow, with QR 841 DOH-HKT returning  1 July, not sure on frequency, expecting 3x or 4x weekly.

I think you might be correct about this.., but I have seen they sell tickets.. Its possible it would reroute in the booking process though..

  2. Much more confusion about this than meets the eye.. Are you sure the validity has to be 72 hours from test to you actually enter thailand.. or is it 72 hours from report to you enter the first, second or third plane..

The answer is.... 72 hours from you recieve the report. Then from that time not more than 72 hours when you board the first flight that leaves your departure country. Not the interconnecting flights.

  3. Its different approaches.. I find the best one is to not cancel cause you might have difficulties finding a replacement.. , but there is another way..

Tell them you dont want a set time.. and never be home.. Never plan after other people.. Do your stuff.. and tell them to call you 1 hour before they are there.. If no calls you know.. if they call.. they normally can remember one hour ahead. Normally.....

too many requirements....too much of a headache to deal with

But for some "Where there is a will there is a way". Its not so complicated, but its very expensive to do it.

It is a good point, but some services in immigration are free by default. Not only the COR. Phuket immigration which i can stand for used to have a list of that inside the building. However I have not looked for it in some years now.

  6. A little unclear what you mean..

There is no quarantine if you are travelling domestic to phuket. But if you come from abroad you need the normal 15 nights 16 days quarantine. It is normally done in bangkok since that is the cheaper option.

Certificate of entry, fit to fly, covid insurance as well as health insurance and a booked ASQ hotel is also neede before arriving from abroad . So is an address needed to either a hotel or a personal invite or a lease contract needed to notify where you plan to stay after quarantine. You can fly in on either a visa exemption or on an actual visa. That doesnt matter, but above requirements are needed.

However.. The difference is if you come from thailand itself to phuket or plan to come from abroad.

I have never been charged in Phuket in 20 years , I must have had about 12 off them over the years , and quite rightly , as its free .

Exactly.. I also use phuket immigration the last 30 years. Once they tried and I smiled and said. Do you have a reciept? no.. the officer is not here to give you one.. Ooooh.. I thought I was looking at one right now i said.. Stamp.. no fee and out.

I realize they force you to wait in other provinces though if you dont pay up. However. It is again a free servive.. It even says so on the wall in immigration I read once.

  8. Hi.. I live in Phuket and would like to fly direct to Chiang Rai.

I am asking for a Thai friend. Does she have to quarantine or can she enter without that?

I saw you used to have to do it. Home quarantine for locals that is. Then I saw they wanted to lift it in end of feb. So i wonder status.

    Thanks

I own a business in Thailand a condominium rental business on airbnb my life savings are in phuket and so is my home however I am unable to get their due to lockdown restrictions here in the UK.

Myself and my partner wish to migrate their permanatly ASAP however we have no idea of our rights as I understand being owner of condo / residency gives me certain rights.

Could someone please enlighten me on anything on should know or could help us to get their right away. STV visa does not seem ideal would this be the only way and if so how can my partner (unmarried) come with me too.

I would appreciate very much any help anyone could bring on this subject.

    Thanks

It is a litle more complicated than your replies..

In not necessarily the correct order , but you need to obtain at least a Tourist visa(unless you want a visa exemption at airport - 45 days). STV is of course a better option in my opinion, work permit is also possible but probably more difficult to get out of Thailand. You need to apply to the thai embassy in England to do that. To get this visa you need to show where you are staying in thailand either with a hotel or a private address with a lease - rental paper or with an invitation from the owner of the house/building. You need a valid return ticket to bangkok. Not any other place in thailand. You need to start the COE process or certificate of entry. Its easy, but this also requires and ASQ hotel booked for the 15 nights you are in quarantine. At the same time you can use your english travel insurance, but this will most certainly not cover covid in these times so you need to buy that for around 5-10k baht online in Thailand. When you get the reciept for that attach it to embassy and also the COE which you get online. Its a requirement for entry. You might need to show company papers as well if you use that as a method of legality to enter the country.

lastly you need and Covid test that is proved negative from company that took the test and a doctor at least not more than 72 hours old when you leave England. At airport you also have to show your COE and your visa and all that.

    Good luck.

  10. You will get about 680 answers according to where people are borned.. But if you wanted only the thai tablets.. You have some answers already..

Note this.. Some of the fever or pain  helpers goes and uses and disposes waste into the liver... This goes for paracetamol for example. probably everything p....   IBUX preparates on the other hand only uses the kidneys to dispose of waste...

Think about this first and formemost.. There are probably 10 in each group or more. Investigate..

I only did the colour test the very first application  (no other vision tests way back then),  but they have the 'traffic light' test every application which has reaction time test. Plus the depth perception test.

    Me too.. Same....

Yes there was the red, amber, green lights test.

I think he meant the vision test with which you have to tell the numbers on a paper which will reaveal if you are color blind or not.. Not the reaction test...

TBH I would try to avoid buying your son a smartphone as long as possible.  I have 2 sons, 16 & 13 & android phones are addictive & kill off family life.

But if you insist on going ahead, if he wants it for gaming, then surely you need to look at something a bit more powerful with more memory?  Xiaomi Redmi note 9?

Agreed..  I would look for a secondhand xiaomi. Good phones for the money.

I don't remember having to get my PP translated.  We married at the local Amphur office and i think it was free, you will need to take 2 Thai witnesses and one must speak english (not your GF) and explain the forms/marriage to you. That was our local Amphur rules.

My experience too.. Proof of not married from home country.. No interview.., Can not remember any translations.. Passport and wife and id, Probably housebook for her and certificate of residency for the foreigner I guess..Proof of non marriage is not required from her as her ID will show it unless changed name. Arrival card from passport and two witnesses is also necessarry.
