Air Lanka has the cheapest tickets from BKK to Maldives. I have still not checked if there is any value for money resorts.

The last 3 times I have visited Siam Paragon, there has been large queues outside of the Louis Vuitton store. I have never been able to figure out why, as they only sell the highly priced original bags.

How could anyone be trained, to any acceptable standard, to be a professional photographer, hairdresser or mechanic in six months? I guess you could have a go at training a hairdresser in such a short period but I wouldn't dream of using a mechanic or professional photographer who had only six months training.

There's no information as to what the re-education involves aside from the above mentioned vocational courses. Are they going to be re-educated as Buddhists? Have they renounced their Muslim faith? Do they now believe that the government of Thailand are working for the best interests of the Muslim population in Southern Thailand?

It all sounds a bit suspect to me.

Non of the workers used in construction, appears to have had more than 6 months education. That´s called the Thai-standard.

If you wanted an active holiday, you came to the wrong place. Not much else to do there, than to enjoy life by relaxing. Some of the beaches are beautiful - others are filled with trash like most vacant beach land.

The next thing will be that Thais are being urged to live in houseboats and a discount scheme for buyers of their first boat.

That alone can be a test of your endurance between his putting the radio up so loud to point of pain, farting, and of course the hispeed weaving and lane hopping - it may be better to sit in solitude and wait for another. Vengeance and sweet revenge is not necessarily the right path here to prove your point.

It has been discovered, that the main part of the protesters haven´t seen the movie, but have been paid to riot. I wonder if they by any chance could have learned this from the Red Shirts in Thailand.

The subway and the skytrain are superb.

The Skytrain is always too crowded. Outside rush hours they have less trains. No way I will use Skytrain where I can go by car.

Raise the fee to 100 BHT. Enough to administer the payment and will keep the people, who are not really sick away. Unfortunately some people see the doctor only because it is free (or at least extremely cheap).

I bought one in Home-Pro a couple of years ago.

I have a PCX 150 with the exact same rattle. I just noticed this noise, after the dealer changed the tyres for free, due to a manufacturing problem. Unfortunately the tyre change did not solve the bad steering at lower speed. I never had any problems with my previous PCX 125. I am planning to let the dealer look at the noise, when the 1000 service is due.

The only mossies we have on 26th floor, is the ones that we bring home, every time we buy fresh fruit in markets or supermarkets. It seems like the mossies specially like to hide in bananas, while many other fruits often contains ants.

If you install a large fan in the room, the mossies will have difficaulties to navigate around. Baygon mossie spray (the one without strong smell) as well as a mosquito net over the bed will work.
