  1. It's okay for the documents to be 'self-certified', i.e., you/your girlfriend sign (in blue ink) a statement at the bottom of the document saying that it's a true copy of the original.
  2. Indeed. Although now having a Prime Minister and a Foreign Minister that don't have British / Irish ancestry is a first for Australia and an indication that the perception could soon be changing for the better. In fact give it another couple of years... https://www.geo.tv/latest/468958-australia-likely-to-remove-king-charles-as-head-of-state-in-2025
  3. That's a step in the right direction. Next...update the flag with a design that's relevant to the diverse country that it has evolved as, and so the country no longer looks like a colonial outpost.
  4. I got a 60 day extension to my 30 day visa exempt entry last Sept for the purpose of visiting Thai wife. I had initially gone to CW where I filed a fresh TM30, and then sought to apply for the 60 day extension for visiting Thai wife. The CW staff were adamant that I must go to IT Square at Laksi for such an extension. Anyway, rathen than argue we then took the quick cab ride to IT Square and got the 60 day extension done there in about 30 minutes. (I noted that most of the other applicants there seemed to be applying for 30 day extensions for tourism though.)
  5. I gave them a (self-certified) copy of my bank passbook which was accepted, no questions asked.
  6. I got my 12mth M/E Non O for marriage in HCMC in October 2022. I did my online booking via the consulate's website 2 weeks in advance and followed their document requirements. All went smoothly, with approval received the next day.
  7. It shouldn't matter (but might, depending upon the attitude of the staff at that particular DLT office). For example, my yellow tabien baan and TM30 filing are registered in Bangkok but I do my 5 yr driver licence renewal in Petchaburi rather than Mo Chit or Bangchak as the staff in Petchaburi DLT office are quick and cheerful, and accept by Bangkok address without question. In your case it's unclear whether either of your tabien baans' are yellow or both blue. If they're both blue then you will need a residence letter from the immigration office where you file your 90 day reports.
  8. ....and apparently the testing for all arrivals is "temperature testing" only at this stage, and presumably those with a fever would then be subjected to additional testing.
  9. In your case I would go to another DLT office (such as DLT Bangchak) that accept the Yellow Tabien Baan as proof of address, and save your self the hassle of obtaining Resid-Cert Letter from Immigration. However for Bangchak you'll need to make an appointment, unsure about others but I believe that DLT Mo Chit there is a quota of Foreigner renewals of 20 per day that fills up quickly (NB: my info is a year old - not recent). If you decide to persevere with DLT Rama 2 then you'll need the Immigration office that you have filed your 90 day reports to issue the Resid-Cert Letter (should be CW and not Phayathai?). Unsure about the Embassy Letter as my Embassy doesn't certify addresses.
  10. The larger tide is normal in December in Cha-am & Hua Hin. However currently the low tide isn't until about 3am, so that's a bit of a double whammy. I was there earlier this week, and the waves were hitting the steps from central to south Cha-Am beach, although the northern end was still very sandy.
  11. ...and potentially 17 months (1 year plus 90 days last exit before expiry, followed by a 60 days extension to visit wife).
  12. You can order these from Medisafe Pharmacy in Bangkok, and they will arrange delivery (to most locations in Thailand). For the Atorvastatin, they sell a generic (imported from India) that is much cheaper than Lipitor/Sandoz. Unsure about the Metoprolol, best you send them a message. They usually reply within an hour and arrange prompt delivery (for Bangkok it's next day, for your location probably 2-3 days). https://medisafepharma.com/
  13. I've always found the Bangkok Air call centre to be responsive and helpful. Contact them to explain on "Call Center at +66 (2) 270 6699 every day during 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (BKK local time)"
  14. "Wash Me Now" in Sukhumvit Soi 39 in Taka Town near Saen Saeb canal / Petchaburi Rd. (Note that they're temporarily closed until 7 Nov for renovations).
  15. I was in HCMC last week and received a new Non O (Marriage) Multi Entry 12 month visa whilst there. The cost was $200, and I dropped my application/passport in at the Consulate at 9:30am and received the new visa in my passport at 1:30pm the next day. Note that I had made an online appointment for the application 3 weeks earlier. The online appointment system is a great improvement resulting in a very short/fast queue, in stark contrast to the Consulate in Phnom Penh where chaos reigns. (Applicants in HCMC without an appointment are rejected). For documentation, I followed the list in the Consulate website:- https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-o-accompanying-thai-spouse-and-family-members?page=5d80ab3315e39c2fe800a791&menu=5d80ab3215e39c2fe800a722&fbclid=IwAR0zXH8aY2-AIXjrc3Og-owBN5pf3zQZ_v51lCqm95zvtlpvPOBFw5Dsb6w
