Any day for a hatchback

After reading the thread with the title "Kitchen sink tap, washer replaceable?" I thought of writing this about my experience, today. My kitchen faucet started to go drip, drip, drip... (It is very similar to the photo @giddyup has posted (made of metal). The inside part too looks the same, as what @johng has posted. I dismantled the thing and saw a lot of whitish lime formation in its innards. I sprinkled some Bicarbonate of Soda and added a little vinegar - it starts foaming. Kept it for a couple of minutes, scraped lightly with a thin scraper (or a screwdriver would do), and rinsed it. Repeated this procedure twice, and reassembled - (maybe if I kept it soaked in that solution for a couple of hours, it would have been better). So far no drips and seems perfect! Convenient, simple and cheap procedure, anyone could try.

Maybe they are secret admirers of you. You seem to have attracted a team that keep watch 24x7. I think that's a rare achievement enjoyed only by a selected few!

I cant imagine how you came to that conclusion, without any hesitation. Do you personally know them and heard their story? If not, I think you are the smartest to make this comment. When in a foreign country, it is nice to travel by public transport, walk, cycle, visit markets etc and mingle with the locals - just to get the 'feel' of that country. Unfortunately, what most foreigners do is to mingle with bar flies and condemn the entire country once they are drained dry.

Indeed! In crowded places one has to be careful. But sometimes, we all may make a slip... just human. The feeling you get once you are robbed is terrible - no matter what the value involved. Just to feel that your privacy had been invaded...

RIP Mr. Harold Jhon Milligan. A very sad way to pass off. We don't know any information regarding the arrangements Mr. Milligan had with the caretaker and how things were done on a day today basis. So one can add any nationality to your comment "Don't rely on Thais to help you even in your utmost time of need" and it will hold true. Random generalising is not very nice IMHO

After the honeymoon? my flights are booked and I am taking a positive step in the right direction (i think) - When are you leaving and where i your next destination? I am sick of being treated less than human by the system and Thais in general - The system at your new destination is perfect? The locals welcome you? You've done the research? Would be great info others who've had enough of Thailand.
