    How old is your PC? What is your Windows version? I have experienced something like this on two or three occasions. When a PC is old, and when Windows was updated on that PC. (sometimes on a working PC, after a Windows update the WiFi will cease to function after a reboot) It refuses to connect to WiFi (and Bluetooth). The only solution I had was to disable the built in WiFi and connect via an USB adapter. Just for your info
